We booked for my parents 70th wedding anniversary and had a message half an hour before Sam was supposed to be at the venue that there was an ‘incident’ with her van and she was providing a refund. No call, no effort to get to us or compromise at all. Really bad customer service and would not recommend at all. Left us scrambling to get some balloons at the last minute. A real let down on such an important occasion. If I could give no stars I would.

Extremely poor experience. I strongly advise anyone considering Elevate Decor by Sam Ltd to read the recent negative reviews before paying any money.

I paid a £300 deposit and was promised a design/mock-up. I never received one. I was then given two separate deadlines for it to be sent. Both were missed.

Communication became appalling. Calls from my own number appeared to be screened and I was only able to make contact when calling from other people’s mobile numbers.

With my daughter’s party soon approaching, no design, two missed deadlines and having subsequently found recent negative reviews describing concerningly similar experiences, there had been a complete breakdown in trust and confidence. I therefore asked to cancel and have my £300 returned.

Initially, even getting agreement to return my money was difficult. I was told that money had already been spent on resources for my booking — despite the fact I had never even seen or approved a design/mock-up. I eventually had to refer to my consumer rights and continued chasing daily before finally getting my £300 back.

I would also strongly recommend reading their Terms & Conditions before paying. They currently state that deposits are “non-refundable under all circumstances” and “strictly non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation.” Given my experience trying to recover my £300 after the promised design never materialised and deadlines were missed, this is something I wish I had paid much closer attention to before booking.

The Instagram page looks impressive, but look beyond Instagram. I subsequently noticed little/no visible customer interaction or comments on the posts I looked at. Read the lower-rated Google and CheckVerify reviews too. I seriously wish I had done this before booking.

An unbelievably stressful experience in the days before my daughter’s birthday. I would never use this company again and absolutely could not recommend them.

Very poor service from this company. My event was on 1st August - I confirmed booking with them in March. I informed them in April about walk from car park to my garden (where the event would be) so that they could consider this when moving the equipment from their van. They only responded to this email the week before my event (end of July) saying that they would either need to increase labour costs or I would have to jump in and help with carrying equipment. This was very last minute after informing them months & months in advance. Then lastly, and most importantly, they cancelled on me 2 days before my event! They said that their vehicle was in an incident that night and equipment was damaged. Now if this really happened then I feel bad for them a little. However, they could have still provided possible vendors that I could contact to help me as my event was only 2 days away. They did not offer any kind of help; or contact anyone to help me. They just said that they would initiate a refund. After 6 business days, I contacted them multiple times and they ignored my calls or just put the phone down on me once they heard my story. After calling from different numbers, they finally gave my money back. I do believe that there was no incident and they were probably never going to do my event in the first place. DO NOT use their services. All their previous 5 star reviews are from a certain time frame only, they have no comments on their instagram content. It's either a scam or very poorly run business.

Ordered my grandad‘s 90th birthday party decorations they messaged me at 10 o’clock at night day before party to tell me that they cannot do because the stuff the stuff is not available but they have not give any options for a different one. They have just stopped responding to me. I really hope I get my money back, but if I don’t, I will be going to the shop.

I'm truly impressed with how professional and fast she was. I loved the set up and it was so beautiful. She took into consideration my request. Will definitely come back

I would suggest this team promotes their work more than they do as after alot of enquiries and quotes i can honestly say that they are a hidden treasure. Sam helped bring my vision to life! She is so great at what she does, she matched my pictures I sent her with ideas and colours and made this backdrop look amazing. We had so many comment on how beautiful the decor was. This was down to Sam and her great creative flair.
