Bad service

Very poor service from this company. My event was on 1st August - I confirmed booking with them in March. I informed them in April about walk from car park to my garden (where the event would be) so that they could consider this when moving the equipment from their van. They only responded to this email the week before my event (end of July) saying that they would either need to increase labour costs or I would have to jump in and help with carrying equipment. This was very last minute after informing them months & months in advance. Then lastly, and most importantly, they cancelled on me 2 days before my event! They said that their vehicle was in an incident that night and equipment was damaged. Now if this really happened then I feel bad for them a little. However, they could have still provided possible vendors that I could contact to help me as my event was only 2 days away. They did not offer any kind of help; or contact anyone to help me. They just said that they would initiate a refund. After 6 business days, I contacted them multiple times and they ignored my calls or just put the phone down on me once they heard my story. After calling from different numbers, they finally gave my money back. I do believe that there was no incident and they were probably never going to do my event in the first place. DO NOT use their services. All their previous 5 star reviews are from a certain time frame only, they have no comments on their instagram content. It's either a scam or very poorly run business.
