Last minute booking but both hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating. Everything you could wish for was provided and nothing was too much trouble. The free fruit and water was a great touch and the honesty box for more expensive items was a perfect addition when you have the munchies. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful (eggs perfect). Even managed to buy some lovely home made jam. We will definitely be visiting again as we love the area and the location is perfect with free parking!! What’s not to love? 🥰

The best B&B I’ve visited
Best B&B I’ve ever had the pleasure to stay at. Jean & Declan are two of the nicest and most welcoming people you are likely to meet.
From the moment we called to book, to the minute we left it was just a lovely experience.
Decided last minute to head to Cornwall for Easter, Family of five plus our dog, talk about lucked out. Location is about 0.5 miles from the fantastic Mawgan Porth Beach, which we visited on Easter Sunday morning, has a cracking pub within 400 yards. Backs onto a coastal walk as well which our dog loved first thing.
The breakfast - incredible - fresh fruit salad, peaches, strawberry’s, raisins, pumpkin seeds, yoghurt. Cereals if you want them.
Fresh filtered coffee and juices.
Followed by a freshly cooked full English with eggs cooked to your liking.
Then if you’re still going an opportunity to sample Jeans preserves! Four different homemade jams and marmalades.
So dog friendly it’s unbelievable, towels and treats available in the lobby and your most loved pets can stay in certain rooms.
It isn’t often I would choose to go back somewhere, however given the option of a premier inn or chain hotel and here, I would choose here every time. I will be shocked if we don’t return in the future.
Don’t hesitate, give them a call and get booked in.

Declan & Jean so helpful, comfy room and delicious breakfast
This was my first stop during a five day trek South to St Ives. Jean was very helpful with directions from the coast path and welcoming when I arrived. I was travelling with my dog and he was made to feel just as welcome too. They are well prepared with dog towels, etc. I got checked in quickly and shown up to my room which was just perfect for me. I slept really well and then had a big delicious breakfast so I was set up for a full days trek. I had a lovely stay here and I would recommend it.

Absolutely lovely Thank you
This place is the pride and joy of the owners who are reliable and professional. Our stay was excellent. There are certain nasty people who lie and bully leaving negative simply on opinions from the nasty bullies on a channel 4 show. They were awful and rude towards Jean and Declan all because Declan made the mistake of boasting, he is actually proud of his breakfasts and rightly so. The only couple who were sorry about being nasty were the gay couple. Thank you Jean and Declan hope to see you very soon.

Lovely B&B with fabulous hosts
Great B&B with hosts that do their absolute best to make you (and your dog if taking too) feel welcome. Super helpful, friendly, and a storming breakfast in the morning!
The location is great for exploring the north Cornish coast with plenty of choice for eating/drinking too.
We’ll be going back.

I had a wonderful stay in the Trevarrian Lodge B&B. The owners Jean and Declan were very welcoming, friendly and hospitable. As soon as I arrived I felt at ease in their welcoming atmosphere which was homely and warm. Both their dogs Dexter and Roxy equally welcomed me into their home.
Within the B&B they have an information table set up with all types of trips, visits and maps available to take and look at. Along with a fresh water tank to fill up bottles. They also offer tea, coffee, water and treats with the providing of an honesty box should you take an item to pay for via the box. I think this is a wonderful idea.
The room was perfect and the bed was super comfy. There were a few storms whilst I stayed but I could hardly hear them during the night so I had a great nights sleep all nights. They have a 9 piece pork based breakfast alternatives were also an option and you could select the whole full English or a variety of options which was cooked by Declan. They also had selection of pastries such as croissants, yogurt, cereal, fruit and homemade jams available. All the jams were extremely tasty especially the kiwi jam - certainly worth a taste! It was yummy!
I enjoyed my conversations with Jean and Dec and I will certainly return to their cute b&b. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Tara (from London)

Lovely stay at this little gem they couldn’t be more helpful loved the breakfast we have 2 Rottweilers who they welcomed
Loved this little gem Dec&Jean welcomed us with open arms and had no problems with our dogs, we have 2 Rottweilers
Breakfast was excellent and the dogs had their own scrambled egg & sausage which they wolfed down. Our dogs are impeccably behaved always but we do understand that the type of dog is not always welcome so really pleased they were accepted and able to show how a well trained Rottweiler really is .. gentle giants in the right hands 😂. We’ll be back soon to collect our broken down car in Plymouth
Thank you for your hospitality

This place is a hidden gem… tucked away in a quiet hamlet with one pub… an ideal place to recharge your batteries… the breakfast is amazing, the room (no.5) has awesome views of the sea, the rooms are clean with a lovely seaside theme without being OTT, the hosts cannot do enough enough for you… totally recommend this little B&B… thanks Declan & Jean 😊👍
