Trevarrian Lodge

Had a short yet lovely stay here while hiking the south west coast path. The room was lovely, full of light and with great views of the green hills and the sea. Breakfast was good with locally sourced ingredients (the jams particularly nice) and the host even went to the trouble of putting our luggage, which was brought over ahead of our arrival, in our room (you would think that’s always the case, but it never is). All in all, really lovely and welcoming experience .

Declan & Jean we’re fantastic hosts, going above and beyond to rescue us from some bad weather on our walk.
The room was so warm & comfortable and breakfast as fantastic!

The Trevarrian Lodge is ideally placed for the beaches and to visit the Eden project. The room was large and comfortable and Jean and Dec were wonderful hosts. The English breakfast is to die for. We will definitely come back.

A wonderful place to stay . The room was immaculate and well presented. There were lots of little extras for both humans and their pets . Declan and Jean were delightful hosts . The breakfast was delicious..didn't need anything else for the rest of the day !
Would definitely recommend and will be returning ourselves.

This place is a hidden gem… tucked away in a quiet hamlet with one pub… an ideal place to recharge your batteries… the breakfast is amazing, the room (no.5) has awesome views of the sea, the rooms are clean with a lovely seaside theme without being OTT, the hosts cannot do enough enough for you… totally recommend this little B&B… thanks Declan & Jean 😊👍

Didn't stay very long here as I arrived at 22.30 and left at 0300. I can say that the service is great though. The owner contacted me as I was running late and normally the shut at 2000 but I couldn't get there until 2230. He waited up and i pressed the bell (it could have been clearer which one to press as there are 3). The guy came and couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. The room was clean but i just crashed into bed. Just a fleeting visit and have no idea what the location looks like although the moon looked nice😆

Fantastic: beautiful location, wonderful hosts and incredibly comfortable & clean room/beds. Breakfast was amazing.
Easy parking directly outside. Good pub serving food just up the road.
Taxis available to Newquay should you need. Everything was wonderful!

Nice clean well presented superior family room. Breakfast and lounge facilities again very clean and well presented with cold foods available from chilled serveries. Owners very available and friendly prepared to listen and if needed improve stay which I can’t find any reason for that to be addressed on our stay for a week.

I'm just back from five nights in the care of Dec and Jean and what a great time I had. Very clean, very hospitable, Great facilities and amazing breakfast. I have not one adverse comment. Thanks so much and I will be back

Stayed there overnight last night with my work colleague was really nice clean and fresh and the beds were so comfy .
The place is perfectly positioned for the near by beaches which are beautiful I could spend a week here easily so relaxing .
The owners were so nice and helpful and I can’t wait to take the wife and kids there .

Room 1 sea views both windows. Clean, well aired. Quiet and convenient location. Parking outside the door. Dog friendly. Breakfast 8.30 -9.30 but breakfast at 8 was accommodated. Cooked breakfast clean and evenly cooked

My wife and I recently stayed three nights at the lovelyTrevarrian Lodge. Dec and Jean were superb hosts who made us feel really welcome and were very accommodating. Stayed in Room 6 which was lovely, lots of extra little touches included and breakfast was excellent. We couldnt fault our stay, absolutely loved it. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning next time we visit Newquay, a great big thank you to you both.

Spent 2 fantastic days at Trevarrian Lodge to celebrate my birthday and also our wedding anniversary. Declan and Jean were so welcoming and decorated our room for us when we arrived.
Another lovely touch was the bottle of fizz and chocolates. We have been to 5 star hotels and not had such a lovely personalised welcome.
The location is perfect and the view from our upgraded room was so pretty. A really quiet area which is exactly what we needed to unwind.
The breakfast, all we can say is wow. It was the best full english breakfast we have ever had and the toast was just delicious.
There was so much choice for breakfast and both Declan and Jean were on hand if we did need anything else.
The room was a great size and had everything you would need. The bed was really comfy and we both slept really well. The bathroom was fully equipped and the towels were large soft and fluffy. There is a guest lounge which looked great and was well equipped but we didn't need to use it. Every room is dog friendly too which is a really nice touch as Cornwall is so dog friendly.
All in all we would highly recommend staying at Trevarrian Lodge.

The most welcoming place.
I stayed for 3 nights in the single room, it had everything I needed and the bed was SO comfy and the shower was perfect too. Super clean, my watch fell down the side of the bed and in hotels I worry it'll be ming behind and it was so clean! Imacculate.
I can't even begin to tell you how lush breakfast was. All of the other guests were so welcoming too it just has the most positive vibes. The perfect way to start the day.
On-site parking was a must when hiring a car and made me worry less as traveling alone, it was good to know I had a space to park.
Nothing was too much trouble, Declan and Jean were so kind. Had a lovely chat with Jean.
The location is perfect too, only a few mins from mawgan porth beach and Watergate. 4 mins from the airport too.
I did use what three words after arriving to navigate back though it is very well signposted.

I would love to come back again.

we had a one night stay with the kids here , we arrived early due to the long drive , we was welcomed by a lovely couple who even tho check in time wasn't yet still invited us in and made us breakfast , the lodge was clean and tidy and the breakfasts was great with lots of choice including vegetarian 👌, we stopped at the lodge has a stop off before camping , whilst we was on our camp we had a phone call from the lodge because our boy had left his Nintendo game in the room so thank you for that 💯 5 ⭐ all round from us , would definitely recommend

We spent a lovely two nights here and would definitely recommend this.
Excellent location and spacious parking. Very clean and comfortable.

Absolutely loved our 1 night stay here. Beautifully clean and twin room with a sea view. Hosts were amazing...very friendly and welcoming. Very pet friendly too. Breakfast delicious with a huge choice.

Stay on Sunday for 1 night and could not fault. Great location and easy to find
Both Declan and Jean were friendly and welcoming. Room was more than adequate. Great offering for Breakfast and could not fault the Full English. They even made space for our daughter and friend to have breakfast with us. Very much appreciated.

There are some negative comments but these were not evident on our visit. As they have said in their response the business has moved on.

We had a lovely time at Trevarrian lodge, Dec and Jean was very accomodating, the room was nice and clean, nice size beds, shower is big size and hot drinks, kettle and treats in the room. It was nice and very quiet, so we had a great sleep. They even have a lounge where you can watch dvds, play cards, or boardgames, fridge with cold drinks, microwave if you want to heat up a takeaway or anything else. Breakfast was excellent, tasty and a lot to choose from, continental plus hot breakfast too, full english was yummy. We only stayed 1 night, but will be returning hopefully soon and we will be staying here again. Can not recommend it enough. FYI do not believe all the negative comments as it has to be some troll doing it.

We had a really lovely stay. The room was modern and very cosy, lovely bathroom too. Jean & Declan were amazing hosts and the breakfasts were great too.
They catered to our vegan dietary requirements too (even when we forgot to notify them beforehand!).
Dexter & Roxie the dogs were the cherry on top of the stay, so cute! It’s also in a fab location with a lovely pub down the road and some beautiful walks.
