Just back from our amazing week-end away in Valletta arranged by Paul Sharp @travelcounsellors. This is the first time we have used a travel agent since the early 2000s and we couldn't recommend Paul more! We wanted somewhere special to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and Paul certainly delivered!
From helping us decide where to go, booking flights at convenient times, finding a beautifully appointed hotel in a perfect location to giving us local advice on things to do, everything was perfect and the process so easy.

Paul was honestly a pleasure to work with. I gave him quite a tricky brief and a tight budget, but he really listened to what I wanted and never made me feel like it was too much trouble. Paul Sharp recently arranged an amazing trip for us taking in three countries (Canada, New Zealand and Australia), five flights, five transfers, two ferries, one train, four tours/activities and no less than twelve hotels! Paul’s meticulous planning, expertise and attention to detail resulted in a very hassle free trip for us. It is the first time we have booked a holiday in this way, but we will absolutely use Paul’s services again and highly recommend Travel Counsellors.

I have used Paul Sharp at Travel Counsellors twice now and couldn't be more pleased with the superb service I received from him. My first collaboration was for a seemingly simple sunny holiday. It was only after booking, when giving all the admin info that Paul realised there were passport issues when travelling to that particular country with the length of time left on my husband's passport. I would have been totally unaware and we would have turned up to the airport and been denied boarding If I had booked it myself. Paul was able to swiftly recognise the issue and recommend somewhere else, which we booked. We could have lost an awful lot of money! Months later I then reached out to Paul in a state of panic at 7.30pm one evening. My son was ill in Peru and needed to get home quickly for surgery. Paul was out when I rang him, but still answered his phone and returned home to sort things out for me. He liaised with my son in Peru, and was able to get him on perfect flights within a very short space of time. He made a very stressful situation much easier and I cannot thank him enough. I think this shows that booking with an experienced travel counsellor gives you utmost peace of mind; you can be assured you are getting the benefit of their years of travel experience and they are also there when things don't go to plan. Having Paul in my phone contacts is like having a friend who can make both dreams come true and problems disappear. Can recommend 100%; you'd be daft to book travel without the safety and security of the Travel Counsellor backing.

We’ve just returned from the most marvellous tri-centre, activity-packed holiday in Thailand, recommended and fully arranged by Paul.
It exceeded every expectation! From our very first email to the change of connecting flight while we were at the airport (and everything in between), Paul’s kept in touch and been on top of every detail.

Just booked our winter sun with Paul-so efficient & easy to book. Paul got what we needed straight away & found us a great price with minimal costs to us if we have to rearrange due to covid regulations. Paul organised a holiday of a lifetime for us to Canada and during several iterations was nothing but fantastic. No change was too small and he eventually got us booked on the perfect trip. We paid in full and Paul told us all about cancellation dates and even organised changes that were outside his control due to Covid. Unfortunately we did have to cancel and Paul organised a full refund within a couple of days wow... How many people/ companies can you trust with your money these days like that. I’ve just booked a 40th birthday celebration trip to Las Vegas for my husband and myself through Paul. It has been a wonderful, positive experience so far and I know he has our back in the run up to and during our holiday! I can't thank Paul enough for his understanding and patience in organising our 25th wedding anniversary bespoke holiday in Lucca, destination choice as the home of Puccini, a favourite composer of mine. Paul listened to my (our) preferences down to hotel room, bedding choices, bathroom even and suggested an hotel converted from an ancient Palazzo into a contemporary hotel, the best of both worlds.
