Attend a lovely class to make a footstool very helpful plenty of guidance looking for ward to another class

I highly recommend this free motion embroidery workshop! I had great fun learning something new that I can take forward into other projects! For now, my beautifully flawed yet perfect to me hare will have pride of place on my sewing room wall.

Lovely evening with coffee and biscuits.....oh, sorry, you want the low down on the course... Tutor very knowledgeable, easy to talk to and ask questions of. Shown how to prep fabric ready for free motion sewing but she had kindly already done this for us, and cut out the stencils required, to save time. Everything needed was provided, you just to take yourself along. We had free practice to start with and did quickly get the basics, although I think it is a skill that will improve with time. I didn't finish and the 3 hours whizzed by, but I have everything I need to finish up at home.Thanks for the experience, it is something I kept meaning to have a go at, but never quite found the time. Nice to do it with others in a relaxed, friendly space.

My 9 year old daughter loved her sewing class and made a beautiful purse and reversible storage bag. Thank you.

My daughter attended the 2.5 hour starter session and it was fantastic! Dawn was extremely friendly and great with the children. The studio is lovely and my daughter gained a huge amount from the session. Would highly recommend.

This studio is one of the best. I went there for a Christmas Wreath Workshop, organised by Dawn and Kath (kraftio_by_kath + createandsewstudio). They were really supportive and explained how to start the wreath off and offered their assistance throughout the session. I really enjoyed it and would highly recommend it! THANK YOU 😊

This place is amazing. My shy but brilliant 14 year old with a passion for fashion, sewing and making is thriving here and making absolutely wonderful things.Create and Sew are efficient, polite, helpful and totaly superb so thank you 😊

Really enjoyed Beginners Learn to Sew Part 1. Dawn is really friendly and a great tutor. Everything was very clear and straightforward and I was really pleased with what I achieved in a day as someone who hasn’t really used a sewing machine before. I’m looking forward to Part 2 and learning some more skills and would recommend the course to anyone who wants to learn how to use a sewing machine.

An enjoyable few hours on the cushion-making course. Dawn shows you what to do to make lovely items and gain skills you can use again.

I've been to 2 of the crochet classes now and each time I've learnt invaluable skills and tips. I'm a complete beginner and the patience and time the tutor has had for me, has undoubtedly bolstered my confidence.The class sizes have been small each time I've attended, which, personally for me is a huge plus as I tend to clam up in big groups.I wholeheartedly cannot recommend this class enough. Julie has taught me literally everything I know, and I will most likely attend more crochet classes and possibly other classes. Thankyou so much 💚

I had my first Quilting Class tonight at Create & Sew Studio and I might just have found a great new hobby. The class was so well organised, friendly and flew by. I can't wait for next week! x

Dawn is a kind, generous and passionate business woman who has created an amazing space for the community to learn and create beautiful things. I have attended many workshops; taught by Hannah, Julie, Ruth and of course Dawn who are all knowledgeable and extremely patient. The workshops and the 1:1 sessions have really helped me to advance my skills in sewing, crochet and knit. Thank you Dawn for doing what you do!

What a lovely relaxing way to spend a couple of hours. Great tuition, welcoming atmosphere and a scrumptious graze box to nibble on. Tea, coffee, soft drinks or a glass of fizz provided too! All the materials needed were provided. A really fun night.

I was a little nervous about my first sewing class but so glad I went! It’s all very relaxed and supportive with lots of tips and advice. Looking forward to next week already!

Really recommend the classes here, at the start of the year I was a total beginner and now I’m making clothes for myself!

Yesterday evening my sister and I attended a crochet class at Create and Sew.As complete beginners we didn’t know what to expect. What we got was a warm welcome and two hours of expert ( and patient) tuition together with lots of laughs.We now know the basics of crochet and cant wait to join other sessions to learn skills in the many crafts they offer at their Chorley venue
