Scissors of Eastney

I actually emailed Scissors to Eastney from overseas and asked them if they could fix a hair disaster for me. I was surprised to get a quick response. I had Lilly cutting my hair and I found her to be a very skilled cutter who was willing to listen and understand what I wanted. I'm very thankful I found this salon. Evie looked after me too and was very warm and welcoming. The salon itself is very comfortable has an earthy vibe to it.

Went in for my usual 5 weekly trim with Shelley, as usual friendly greeting ,nice atmosphere always offered a drink.. :Came out with exactly want i wanted as usual this is why I keep returning.

First time visiting Scissors of Eastney and I was a little nervous, but I really didn't need to be! From the moment I walked in, I was given the warmest welcome by Sarah (who I think is the owner), and the whole experience was impeccable from start to finish. The salon is absolutely beautiful, with such a warm, cosy atmosphere, and on a hot day the air conditioning was an added bonus! I left feeling incredible and couldn't fault a single thing. Every member of the team was so friendly, attentive, and genuinely made me feel looked after. A well-deserved 5 stars all round. If you're thinking of booking, don't hesitate – you won't be disappointed!

This was my first time at Scissors & it is always a bit nervy trying a new salon & hairdresser. But I had nothing to worry about! I was made to feel so welcome. Lily spent time chatting with me about what I would like & made some good suggestions. I was given a little goody bag too. The salon is beautifully decorated & it was a real treat. We visited Scissors one evening to get my daughter's hair cut after she had a bad experience at another salon, where more hair was cut off than she had asked for, leaving her very upset. As a result, it had been nearly three years since she'd been willing to go back to a hairdresser. The team at Scissors were absolutely amazing. Her stylist took the time to speak directly to my daughter, asking her what she wanted and discussing the style with her, rather than just talking to me as the parent. That simple approach made such a difference and immediately put her at ease. She got exactly the haircut she wanted and left with a huge smile on her face, already asking to book her next appointment in a couple of months. She even spent the whole journey home talking about how much she loved having her hair washed and has recommended that I book an appointment at the salon myself! We're so grateful to have finally found a salon where she feels comfortable, listened to, and confident. Thank you to the whole team for turning what had previously been an anxious experience into such a positive one. We can't recommend Scissors highly enough!

A wonderful visit to Scissors today. I received such a warm welcome as always from Louise, Lilly and Evie. Louise took time out to find out what I wanted. She took into account the hot weather and gave me a beautiful short bob. I am delighted! Thanks Louise! was no exception. I desperately needed my hair done. Louise was amazing. She assessed my hair and was clearly very knowledgeable. After a difficult time recently I was made to feel spoilt and I am thrilled with my new hair. Just the boost I needed. Thank you so much!!

Evie was absolutely brilliant at doing my hair for me, I had a cut and blow dry, and she cut and styled it exactly how I wanted it. I will definitely be asking for her again ??

I had my first appointment today with Louise and I couldn’t be happier with the result.Louise took the time to really understand what I was looking for and gave great advice on what would work best for my hair. She also shared some really useful tips on hair and scalp care and talked me through how to style my hair at home.The cut turned out exactly how I wanted it and I’m so pleased with it. Everyone in the salon was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the whole place had such a lovely atmosphere.I would highly recommend Louise and the salon to anyone looking for a great experience and a stylist who really takes the time to listen.
