I had my first appointment today with Louise and I couldn’t be happier with the result. Louise took the time to really understand what I was looking for and gave great advice on what would work best for my hair. She also shared some really useful tips on hair and scalp care and talked me through how to style my hair at home. The cut turned out exactly how I wanted it and I’m so pleased with it. Everyone in the salon was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the whole place had such a lovely atmosphere. I would highly recommend Louise and the salon to anyone looking for a great experience and a stylist who really takes the time to listen.

It’s always a little daunting to find a new hairdresser but I needn’t have worried. Everyone was warm and friendly from the minute I walked in. The salon is clean and tidy with a relaxed yet still professional feel. I was able to make an appointment within a couple of days at a convenient time for me. I took some pictures of the style I was hoping for and Louise gave me exactly that. I’m very pleased with the results and will definitely be going back for future cuts. Coffee, biscuits and a goody bag were an added bonus.

We’ve never had a bad experience at this hair salon. From the moment you arrive, you’re warmly welcomed, offered refreshments, and made to feel comfortable while waiting for your stylist. My 10-year-old daughter absolutely loves coming here - not just for the haircut, but for the whole experience. Shelley and the team consistently go above and beyond, creating such a friendly and engaging atmosphere. The little extras, like styling and curling her hair at the end, really makes it feel special and leaves a lasting impression. What truly stands out is Shelley’s attention to detail and how she remembers us from previous visits - it makes every appointment feel personal and valued. That level of care is rare and so appreciated. We’ll definitely keep coming back. If we could give 6 stars, we would!

Had a haircut and bouncy blow dry today and it was such a lovely experience. Louise took the time to really understand what I wanted and gave great advice on what would suit me best. She also shared helpful hair care tips and product suggestions without being pushy at all. I felt really comfortable throughout and left feeling beautiful and confident. The salon has recently been refurbished and looks amazing – cosy, stylish, and high-end. The whole experience was relaxed and nothing felt rushed. Highly recommend!

Lilly was so lovely and really easy to work with. She checked in with me before doing anything, which I really appreciated. I usually avoid getting haircuts because I often end up a bit disappointed, but Lilly was really careful with my length and bangs and made sure I was happy with how everything looked before I left. Everyone at the salon was so friendly and welcoming too. I’ll definitely be coming back!

First time visiting this hairdressers and I was really impressed. All the staff were lovely and it had such a welcoming vibe. Lily was amazing—she really listened to what I wanted and was so attentive throughout. Overall, such a friendly place with a great atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back!

I have been taking my daughter to Scissors of Eastney and they are absolutely amazing. The staff are professional yet incredibly friendly, always greeting us with a warm smile on arrival. They are so calm and patient with my daughter, offering great support and brilliant advice whenever she wants to change her style so that the cut perfectly suits her face. She actually looks forward to going back! The salon has also had a recent redesign, featuring a lovely wooden reception desk and matching workstations, which gives the whole place a really nice, modern vibe. I thoroughly recommend them.
