Mr Timing

I recently took my car to Mr Timing to get the clutch replaced, and I couldn't be happier with the service. He is incredibly honest, fair with his pricing, and clearly very good at his job. The car runs perfectly now. It’s hard to find a mechanic you can truly trust, but Mr Timing is the real deal. Will definitely be my go to for any work needed!

Took my (ever so problematic) 2017 318i to these guys based on the fact I drive past their van on a daily basis - and they didn’t disappoint.

After 117k miles, I figured the Timing Chain needed to be done, after many friends & family saying it had to be done.

Mr Timing took the car in, and promptly got back to me within 24 hours clearly stating the Timing Chain doesn’t need to be done as there’s no chain rattle - and they wouldn’t be carrying out the job.

I have to praise these guys on their honesty. Could’ve made a quick couple quid but their honestly speaks volumes.

They kept the car in, as they spotted an AirLock - both Steve and the young lady on the phone kept me clearly informed as to what needed to be replaced, only with my consent - not replacing parts at their own whim.

Picked up the car today and it’s running better than ever.

They’re not expensive - even for the big jobs.

I’ll be bringing my other car here for future work (wear & tear bits), a genuine bunch of trustworthy guys.

I recently took my BMW 1 Series in for a timing chain replacement, and what initially seemed like a straightforward job turned into something much more complicated. Along the way, a number of other issues cropped up, but Steve and the lads at the garage worked incredibly hard to get to the bottom of everything and sort it properly.
Steve was brilliant throughout, his communication was spot on, and he kept me updated every step of the way, even sending photos to show exactly what was going on. At no point did I feel like I was being taken advantage of, which is something that matters as a woman when dealing with cars.
All the lads at the garage are friendly, easy to talk to, and have great banter, which made it much less stressful. You can tell they genuinely care about doing a good job and looking after their customers.
I honestly can’t thank them enough for the time, effort, and care they put into getting my car back on the road. Highly recommend!

Took my jaguar xe r sport for a timing chain replacement and was impressed with how smooth the whole process was. The staff were knowledgeable and took the time to explain the issue and what was involved. No hidden costs, and they kept me informed throughout. The engine sounds much better now and runs like new. It’s not a cheap job, but I felt the price was reasonable for the quality of work. Would definitely use them again.

Traveled from South Wales to have a wet belt done,will definitely be back for any jobs that need to be done in the future as it’s hard to find an honest and fair garage also sent photos of work done and parts changed

Took my seat leon mk3 1.4tsi in for a timing belt, water pump and oil change. Very competetive price. Fast turn around. Took car in for 10am, was ready by 2:30pm same day. Great comunication and shown you photos of worn parts so you know youre not getting mugged off. Steves a nice bloke too. Have recommended to friends and will get my buisness again as and when it needs it

I was recommended this garage by RAC for a timing chain issue. They gave me an appointment the same day, and within 24 hours my car was fixed. They even checked some other problems the car had. As a bonus, there’s Spook the dog happily playing around the workshop. Highly recommended!

Absolutely , great bunch of lads took my bmw 320msport in for a timing chain, serviced gear box and when checked , my oil pump was knackered, if it wasn’t for them my car would have been scraped, can’t thank them enough, excellent work carried out.would highly recommend.
