Looking for a trustworthy mechanic? Look no further.

Took my (ever so problematic) 2017 318i to these guys based on the fact I drive past their van on a daily basis - and they didn’t disappoint.

After 117k miles, I figured the Timing Chain needed to be done, after many friends & family saying it had to be done.

Mr Timing took the car in, and promptly got back to me within 24 hours clearly stating the Timing Chain doesn’t need to be done as there’s no chain rattle - and they wouldn’t be carrying out the job.

I have to praise these guys on their honesty. Could’ve made a quick couple quid but their honestly speaks volumes.

They kept the car in, as they spotted an AirLock - both Steve and the young lady on the phone kept me clearly informed as to what needed to be replaced, only with my consent - not replacing parts at their own whim.

Picked up the car today and it’s running better than ever.

They’re not expensive - even for the big jobs.

I’ll be bringing my other car here for future work (wear & tear bits), a genuine bunch of trustworthy guys.
