Can't praise these guys enough .from the minute you walk in door your treated like a v.i.p . All the staff are professional and friendly and any eye or glasses problems these guys sort out .from small issues to more serous issues . No problems too small for them to solve for client's. Its really is a pleasure to visit this business

Really good service, diagnosis and support for my families eye care

Had an amazing experience with all the staff during my appointment, all were very kind and helpful along side their ending a wide variety of glasses frames for me to pick and choose from

After decades of coming here I can absolutely say it is better than anywhere else I’ve tried! There’s a lot to be said for a family owned business, rather than a chain store and it’s evident in everything here from the timing, to attention to detail and the additional support and attention given to each customer! Range of products and prices are unparalleled and we are always welcomed here , highly recommend!

Had a great experience yesterday with James! Was an easy check up with lots of information and help.

I can't thank everyone at McElholms in Downpatrick enough for the outstanding care they showed my mum today, especially James.

My mum has significant mobility issues, so getting her to appointments can be a real logistical challenge. From the moment we arrived, James went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and well looked after while helping us sort out replacement glasses and her eye test.

Nothing felt like too much trouble, and the kindness, patience and professionalism shown to both of us made what is usually a very stressful experience so much easier.

Exceptional customer service is hard to find, but the team at McElholms truly deserve recognition. Thank you so much for your compassion and care – it meant more than you know. I would highly recommend McElholms to anyone looking for an optician who genuinely puts their patients first.

My brother and I have been getting our eyes tested here for a few years now and every time we have found it to be great service with all the staff we interact with being extremely friendly and helpful and we would highly recommend!
