Stunning views, the lodge is a historic building with some very interesting architecture. Friendly staff greeted me & gave me a tour around.

I cannot praise the overall experience too highly and would have no hesitation in staying again if I’m in the area

Our 3rd stay. A fab quiet location overlooking country land, close to shops pubs and restaurants. 5 mins to A45, 10 mins to city centre. Rooms and beds vy comfortable. Help yourself to continental breakfast.. choice was amazing.. variety of cereals, yoghurts, fruit, various bread for toast, coffees teas.Tea making facilites in rooms.Comfy beds, plenty of blankets if needed.Good car parking. Hosts leave you alone unless you need them.You are welcome to order food in eg takeaways as long as it is eaten in the dining room and you clean up and clear away afterwards. We did, used 2 local places to order and deliver.We stay twice yearly to visit family in the área. Regina is a 5 star hostess. Incredibly helpful and just an all round amazing lady!! The house is beautiful. Bed was super comfy and the views over the countryside are spectacular. Incredible when you think that it's located only about 15 minutes from the NEC and Birmingham Airport. Big renovations taking place next year so very interested to check in and see how they're going. Wonderful country lodge, with equally lovely hosts. We were made very welcome and the genuine home feel was completely comfortable and warm. We stayed here with our Siberian Husky whilst visiting friends over the weekend. Everything was as described to by Regina who was very helpful and welcoming on arrival. The buffet style breakfast was well stocked and the location was perfect for us. We would definitely stay here again.

I was very lucky to find myself at the Coundon House for an evening. I stayed in Room 1 double with an en-suite and it was bliss! Everything I could have needed and a very relaxing and homely stay. We stayed here for two nights for a family funeral nearby. The hotel stock in Coventry is generally basic and quite expensive, and the hotel we originally booked had sent us demands for breakage deposits and copies of our ID just beforehand. Their reviews were very variable. From my initial call Regina made us totally welcome, giving us an excellent price for the apartment. We were free to take advantage of the wonderful grounds of this listed building family home, and had a sumptuous bed, plenty of storage space, a large traditional bathroom, and a living room /kitchen with all facilities. Breakfast was available in the spacious dining room. Display fridge full of goodies, every bread product imaginable, Huge choice of quality drinks, cereals, fresh fruits, and special diet items. Eggs, cheeses, cold meats of your choice. We slept very well, and will definitely return, as we have family in Coventry who need a lot of help.

The room we stayed in was a downstairs suite — fully accessible and beautifully spacious. And to top it all off. The room was pink.

Inside the building, every corner was immaculate, smelled amazing, and had such a lovely, homely feel. You could tell care and pride goes into every detail. The bed was so comfy I was out cold within minutes — a rare win for someone like me who normally has a hundred things going on in my brain at night.

This wasn’t just a stay. It felt like a retreat — peaceful, accessible, and full of warmth and charm. If you’re looking for somewhere inclusive, welcoming, and genuinely beautiful inside and out, I can’t recommend Coundon Lodge enough.Hotel highlightsGreat view, Quiet, Great value

A nice country house in a great quiet location. Feels safe staying here. Buffet style breakfast provided. There are places to eat nearby if you don't want to cook. Missing this place already!
