David was really helpful and knowledgable from the minute I first got in touch. He came when he said he would, gave a good price and did the job with very little disruption/mess. Nothing was too much trouble. Great company and I would 100% recommend. Thank you for a great job and great service.

Linthorpe damp carried out 2 jobs on rental properties I own the work was top class and would use again clean and tidy and provided long term guarantees for work .

We had Linthorpe Damp Proofing do a job for us and paid £430. The damp quickly came back so had to have them back. They came back and charged another £300, but the damp still came back. Had them out again although had to get in touch a couple of times as they seemed to have forgotten about us. After a third visit, the wall looked awful and the damp still came through. Got an independent person out to check the damp levels and it was off the chart in some areas after Dave had said he was "happy with the damp levels" I no longer trusted them to fix the issue so asked for a refund so I could get someone else to sort the damp out properly. They offered £300 which I felt wasn't fair after we'd paid £730 and still had damp. They did say they'd come out again but if the damp had "moved" it would be chargeable. I got £350 back. I still wasn’t happy, but at least it’s something. I strongly believe I would’ve been charged again, and considering the job wasn’t done right from the start, I wasn’t willing to pay them any more money.The pictures showAfter the job was done initially and damp coming back through. Also the plastering job wasn't great as shown.After the second visit damp still coming back through.After a third visit we were left with a very unsightly wall that still wasn’t fixed.Overall extremely disappointing and definitely wouldn't recommend.

Linthorpe Damp Proofing dealt wit extensive rising damp in a porch, front room and walk-in cupboard. The quality of work was excellent and tidiness exceptional. Recently had some damproofing done with this firm. Dave,George and Steve arrived on the time given. They were very professional and gave good advice,work done to a high standad, earned up after themselves and the work was done on time. Would highly recommend them. David replied to my query the same day and attended to view 2 days later . Luckily there were no works to be completed, David advised and explained what he believed was the problem , forward a contact number for possible works and did not charge for his time stating he was in the area anyway.
