Jim and the team were absolutely first class. They built a porch with a toilet at the front of our house, and I couldn't be happier with the result. Jim listened to what I wanted and made suggestions to improve the build which I appreciate, like the velux window in the roof, which lets in loads of light and was a genius idea. The rest of the team were lovely, respectful, and worked incredibly hard in all weathers. They answered all my questions, kept me updated throughout the process, and the quality of their work is to a very high standard. They arrived on time every day, worked all day and finished the extension on time, all for a reasonable price.

We've had the porch for six months now, and it still looks as good as the day it was built. I highly recommend J Building Contractors and am already thinking about what else they can build for us!

These guys just completed a large extension for us and from start to finish they were first class , a great bunch of guys worked in all weather never complained very respectful when working inside the property quality workmanship and I will use again.

I highly recommend JBC . They were reliable, hardworking and skilled builders. They took on the challenge of rebuilding our 120year old garden wall which had collapsed and did so successfully . They came when they said they would, put in a full day's work and completed the task in the number of days promised. At the end of the job they cleared up the site from the thousands of broken bricks littering our garden. We now have a beautifully built, stable garden wall. We were delighted with their work, especially the curve in the wall and the toppers - both of which were great recommendations from the builders themselves. Thank you JBC!

If you’re looking for a friendly, reliable & professional job look no further than J Building Contractors Limited! Have had some very bad luck with companies recently & JBC have restored my faith! No messing me around or saying they couldn’t come in the middle of a job-just rattled through in 3 days. From start to finish they could not be faulted. They knocked through the wall from my kitchen to dining room, swept up every day & finished with the plastering. (I was expecting to have to get someone else out for that). The work is of a high standard & I am so happy with the results. They were also so understanding when I had an emergency when my Mum was ill & carried on when I had to go to her. I even trusted them with the keys. Lovely, friendly & helpful lads. They’re so good I have asked for a quote for another job!

A very difficult job of putting up a new ceiling to cover an old skylight and water-stained ceiling was made more difficult by a steep stairwell and double-height ceiling on the mid-landing turn. Over 3 days, JBC's team soon had new plasterboards in place, ceiling painted and new rise-and-fall lights fitted. Delighted with the finished result.

JBC responded very promptly to our request to investigate an internal drainage problem at our property. We received a quotation for remedial work within 24 hours and the work was completed to an excellent standard within the promised timescale. All JBC staff from Jim down were very approachable and kept us informed of progress throughout the work.

Jim and his team constructed a summerhouse in our back garden and we are absolutely delighted with it. He came out before hand to discuss what we were looking for, gave us a quote that was within our budget and then began on the agreed date. Jim was always available for questions or updates and kept us informed with what was happening. After it was finished I asked him if he could do a couple of other jobs in the house and he was happy to do so, again letting us know the price before going ahead. They tiled the bathroom, installed a new shower and new ceiling. Very tidy workers and do a great job.

This is the second time I've use this company and would HIGHLY recommend them friendly ,clean great work,and their prices are the best out there they listen to everything you want . I will DEFINITELY be using them in the future ,THANKS GUYS 🙂.
