We were looking to widen our extension and had 4 interesting quotes! This was before we found Dean Alabaster through the IOW Council Trader Appraisal Scheme. What a find and a very competitive price.
We found both Dean and John pleasant and hardworking, starting at 8 and leaving the site tidy each evening.

Alabaster builders carried out work for us constructing a new extension, Dean and John worked very hard from the agreed starting date to the finish.
We were able to discuss and carry out some changes from the original plans to suit disabled requirements, some additional work was also carried out at the same time.
The job was brought in basically on budget/original quote which we thought was very fair considering the rise in building material costs.
We would recommend Alabaster builders based on our experience.

We've just had a chimney built onto the side of the house by Dean, and a huge fireplace created within our lounge.

We knew as soon as we engaged with Dean that we wanted him to do the job, and fortunately his quote compared very favourably with the 3 other companies that we had around to look at the job.

Dean always arrived exactly when he said that he would, he told us exactly what he'd be doing each day, and he gave us plenty of warning for when we'd be inconvenienced or when deliveries would be arriving. The build was a very pleasant experience.

The finished job is first-class.

We'll hopefully have some more building work done on our house in a couple of years, but this time we know that we don't need to go through the hassle of seeking quotes and opinions from several building companies.... we're heading straight to Dean.

Alabaster Building Services made an excellent job of fitting my new kitchen. Dean and John are hard working, professional and friendly, and are never fazed by unexpected problems. Their work is of high quality, and was completed on time.
