Dave and his team removed the existing front driveway slabs, plant area and walls, with the requested clay pavers and drainage system, in a highly commendable efficient and professional manner. The work was started on the agreed date, with the excellent finished drive completed within the expected duration and to the agreed (very reasonable) cost. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dave and his team for any future work.

Getting the drive designed and built was a really easy and straightforward process. Originally wanted tarmac but was advised to do block because of the quality of the ground underneath. Really happy with the quality of the work. 7 year guarantee gives good peace of mind.

Wanted tarmac but advised against it due to poor drainage, which was appreciated. Went for block paving in the end; a couple of blocks were chipped, however, but they came back the next day and replaced them. Driveway looks great. Just waiting on the guarantee which has been chased a few times without reply, which is a little bit of a worry.

David and his team did a great job exactly to spec. The work started when I was told it would and completed on time at a very reasonable price. David clearly takes pride in doing a good, high quality job. I didn’t get the work done for compliments but I’ve had some lovely comments from neighbours on how great it all looks. The only very minor negative is the pavement and road was left messy from where materials (mainly sand) had been delivered and it’s taken some time for it to wash away. This shouldn’t detract from the work that was completed, which I’m really pleased with.

From initial quote to completion of job David & his team were superb. Initially we wanted a tarmac drive but on commencement of dig out it was discovered that, due to a waste pipe leak had created a deep hole. David advised we should consider changing to block paving so as if in the future any problems arouse it would be easier to lift the paving rather than the tarmac. This advise would probably mean a lower price but David put a quality job before profit. We are so happy we took his advice, what a fantastic new driveway we have. Want a new driveway? All workers turned up on time each day. They are very experienced and each unexpected issue that arose during the work was discussed with me and solutions found at no extra cost. The communication via WhatsApp was good at the end of each day, as I came home from work after they had finished and I knew what the plan was each day. All my questions got answered. Removing the old drive and installing the new one was a military operation, and the team were friendly and very professional. The whole thing was done and dusted in a week and we are very satisfied with the work quality. I also had a very unusual requirement to install a deadlift platform, and they rose to the challenge!

Dave and the team did a brilliant job clearing my front garden/driveway to lay tarmac with brick edging in August 2021. This was sadly damaged by a third party in July 2022. Dave returned to quote and offer a suitable solution to the situation. With both jobs, the work was carried out efficiently, tidily and to a high standard, and I was always kept informed of progress. We had a 20 year old driveway that was only just big enough for two cars. Dave provided us with a very competitive quote to remove, replace and extend the driveway (onto a front lawn area). We had some other contractors provide quotes, but were only interested in tarmacing over the existing drive, rather than ripping out and starting again. Dave provided an accurate quote - his team got on with the job and made light work of it. In addition to the tarmac, they also had to install new drainage and replace some drain covers, which all look great. Extremely satisfied with the work completed!

We hired David and his team to completely dig out our front garden and replace with 130 sqM of block paving, complete with wall to the front and side gate and 2 telescopic security bollards. David was highly professional from the outset right up to completion and was able to make recommendations of what design and style we would like. This work was carried out 3 months ago and a review could have been posted then to say how fantastic it looked etc etc but I decided to leave it for a while in case problems arose. David and his team did a great job resurfacing part of my driveway. The work was all done to a really high standard with no mess and for exactly the price agreed beforehand. The only hiccup in the whole process was a manhole cover on a different part of my drive collapsing when a lorry was driven over it, but the guys informed me about this straight away and replaced it free of charge so can't fault their service at all. I'd definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for a friendly, honest and professional driveway specialist.

Dave and the team were an absolute( excuse the pun) dream team. Hard workers, on time every day, and all of them had great attitude to their work. They were tidy, did a great overall job and I am happy with the price for what was quite a large drive to block pave. Nothing was too much trouble and they would do any little extra I asked.

The actual date our driveway was completed was Autumn 2017 (but we have left it longer than anticipated to write this, as we wanted to be sure about the drives capability and we kept forgetting). We were having trouble with water drainage on the previous driveway. Absolute came in and fitted a gorgeous cobbled driveway that has dealt with all the weather of the past three years and is still great. The quality of the workmanship and speed of the construction were faultless.

Only just finished but the drive looks 100% better than it did before. Really happy with every aspect of the work done.

Generally very good. I was a bit surprised when the estimate for extra materials was much higher than expected. But I accept that mistakes happen.

I used this contractor several years ago to install a new drive and more recently I asked him to carry out some repairs to some paving which had subsided due to spreading tree roots. On both jobs the work was carried out professionally to a high standard and I would certainly use this firm again.

Dave and the lads done a great job they where always there first thing in the morning done what I asked to do with drive to a very high standard.

The original blocks were removed, cleaned ,the sunken areas were levelled, the blocks were replaced, infill sand was used to stabilise and the area was then wacked using a mechanical wacker. Little or no assistance from ourselves, we did provide as a courtesy, hot drinks, as the weather was at times very cold. Cost satisfactory. Would recommend.

Front drive was Block edged, with raised feature to one side, with central tarmac (Approx 80 sq/mts). Block paving then commenced from front drive along side of house to rear patio area, with raise edging to rear lawn area. We had the initial idea in our minds and Dave used his experience to provide worthwhile suggestions, giving an excellent final product.
