Tidal Drift Consultants Limited

Julian and the team at Tidal Drift did an exceptional job designing and building our extension. It came in on price and on time and they were utterly professional and personable - not your usual builders. They also have great contacts for other contractors such as ground workers, plasterers and electricians which meant the whole process felt seamless and relatively stress free- as much as having extensive building work on your house can feel! Would 100% recommend. They’re a creative team as well as skilled in construction which was exactly what we needed to get something bespoke and personal with an artist gallery at one end and a dining space at the other.

We are absolutely over the moon with the beautiful LED backlit bespoke joinery wall shelving units that Tidal Drift built for our old cottage. The craftsmanship is stunning. It has completely transformed the room! The work was highly technical as the walls were so wonky. Everything was completed with exceptional care, precision, and attention to detail. Communication throughout was excellent, clear, thoughtful, and professional. Tidal Drift were an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish.

The finished result is beautifully crafted, perfectly suited to the character of our cottage, and we couldn’t be happier. I would highly recommend Julian and Tidal Drift to anyone looking for bespoke creative joinery work. We are so grateful! We never really went in the snug before as the walls were so gloomy and it felt drab ..and now it is our favourite room in the house! It is such a beautiful warm and atmospheric space to hang out in. 10/10!

I would highly recommend Julian and Tidal Drift to anyone considering construction work. In my role as a Chartered Architectural Technologist, I have collaborated with Julian on both large-scale and smaller projects, and the results have consistently been built to a very high standard. For instance, our work on the contemporary one-off dwelling, Weald House which was originally approved under NPPF Paragraph 55, and after completion received 'Highly Commended' at the Sussex Heritage Trust Awards; demonstrating a level of skill that I believe is rare within the industry. Julian possesses an exceptional focus on quality and detail, and together we have worked on projects that show this exceptional capability. The aspect of Julian's work which truly sets him apart is his creativity and lateral thinking; qualities that are unusual among contractors and have proven to be a genuine advantage in project delivery.
