This Academy for dance, drama and musical theatre is an absolute brilliant place for kids to try out and learn lots of different skills.
Granddaughter loves going and has made some really nice friends.
She takes part in lots of classes and has also been on TV a couple of times.
I would highly recommend.👌

The environment is very friendly and welcoming, and there are lots of opportunities to make friends

The teachers genuinely care about the progression of the students, and nurture their development. They are also extremely knowledgeable in their subject area, able to give advice to both parents and students to allow the students to pursue dance at any level from a hobby right up to wanting to pursue a career in dance.

Daughter absolutley loves acro gymnastics, affordable prices, super friendly teachers who support and help your child where ever possible

I have been attending Ripley Academy of Dance for the past 16 years and never looked back, I have always done a variety of classes with the intention of becoming a teacher. From the help and support from all of the teachers I have already managed to gain two teaching qualifications whilst I am now working on my third with the Royal Academy of Dance. All of the staff here are so caring whilst very determined to help every dancer learn and achieve their dreams weather that be like mine, a teacher, or anything else in the dance industry. At Ripley Academy I haven’t just learnt how to dance it has taught me a whole range of things such as discipline, to be resilient, improved confidence. I have also made some amazing friends all due to the friendly atmosphere that this school has.

Ripley academy is like a second home, I’ve been dancing here for nearly 12 years and have loved every second of it. Everybody is so supportive and encouraging. I have made lifelong friends and everyone feels like a family! The teachers here are truly inspirational and passionate about what they do. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to start or continue their dancing journey, it’s perfect for any age.

I would highly recommend The Ripley Academy Of Dance and Drama! I have been dancing here for many years, and have taken part in drama classes too. The teachers are super supportive and encouraging. Everyone is so welcoming and the academy has such a warm atmosphere. Through dancing, I have been given many opportunities, such as exams, shows and performances. I have also completed the assistant teaching award course with the RAD and have recently passed my Associate Tap exam with the NATD! Drama classes have also given me opportunities in shows as well as filming for TV! The staff are so dedicated in helping you to achieve your very best, thanks to their great knowledge and expertise, and really do help boost your confidence both inside and outside of classes. I couldn’t recommend the dance academy enough!

I have been dancing at Ripley Academy for 14 years and have enjoyed every moment. I look forward each day to my evening classes and truly believe the expertise of the teachers has not only taught me so much but also given me countless opportunities. All the teachers have supported me through my dance and LAMDA exams, giving me the chance to perform in many shows and competitions, creating memories to last a lifetime.

Adult drama class in 2018, performing at Derby Art Festival made lovely friends and learnt a lot, the class passed a LAMDA exam with distinction with lots help and encouragment, with professional but friendly attitude of Felicity, would highly recommend,

My daughter as attended this dance school for the last 9+ years and she loves it.
She takes ballet, street, modern, contemporary and competitions class.
Her dance teachers are professional and fun... not to mention really talented in their own right.
I really appreciate how dedicated the academy is to giving all its students a solid dance foundation, building confidence and providing them all with a lifelong love of dance!

Highly recommend Ripley academy of dance and drama , my daughter absolutely loves attending the ballet classes and she has grew massively in confidence since she started a few years ago. Really wouldn’t send her anywhere else all the teachers are so lovely and professional.
Durning lock down they all went above and beyond to ensure that each student could carry on with their lessons and even tho my daughter didn’t take part in the online zoom classes we were still kept in the loop with things.
