Puddleducks Childcare

I honestly can’t sing Puddleducks’s praises enough for the love, kindness and patience that they have shown us and our little boy. The staff are so caring. It’s like a home from home and he loves attending. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for childcare.

puddleducks is fantastic...my little one loves it and comes home and tells me that she loves all the girls that work there ❤️ They are a brilliant team of girls and couldn't be happier with the care she receives when she is there!

After having a bad experience with
our previous nursery we moved our children into puddleducks, they absolutely love it and we have never felt happier always taking the children for days out and new experiences would totally recommend xx

My daughter is 22months old and she is always so happy when she’s come home from Puddleducks. She loved exploring on her first visit and was excited to play with all the toys. She doesn’t have many young kids around her so it’s great to see her interacting with the other children. It’s lovely to see pictures of her enjoying her time there. Deborah was very helpful and answered any questions I had when joining. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend Puddleducks⭐️

My son has attended Puddleduck’s since 2020, I believe the setting is well organised, with the children’s learning and development in mind at every turn. The babies’ room is clearly set up to encourage early development of skills in exploration of their environment, with the curiosity approach evident in the design of the rooms and items available. I believe the staff set appropriate expectations to challenge my son in his learning, with a variety of teaching methods and resources, including options for independent play.
Progression into pre-school is managed well; as a parent I was consulted on the plans to move my son when it was evident he was reaching specific milestones; I felt included and part of the plan for his transition. The move up to pre-school has been brilliant for him and the environment is clearly set up to provide opportunities to increase independence and taking responsibility, it is clean, fresh and bright. There is opportunity to express themselves through creative arts, e.g. observational drawings; displaying work on the walls gives ownership to each child. It is obvious that Puddleduck’s are facilitating my son to develop his independence, specifically dishing up his own meals, allows him to meet his own needs.
My son loves going out; over the past few weeks there have been numerous outings which he has talked excitedly about; the staff are aware of individuals preferences and are able to meet these. The opportunity for physical development is great, with regular visits to the park and walks to feed the ducks.
As a family we are thrilled with the care and compassion Puddleduck’s provide; two older siblings attend pre and post school sessions which they look forward to each week.

Both my children have been going since they were 1 year old and they absolutely love it. Debbie and the girls have helped them build their confidence and independence massively so thank you. Even though we no longer live in Yarm they can’t wait to go to holiday club during the school holidays in which the girls organise trips out to the cinema, ice skating etc. Wouldn’t want to send them anywhere else.

Both my girls love going to Puddleducks. My youngest (2 1/2) has been going there since she was 9 months old. She is sociable, confident, independent and kind and I have no doubt that the caring and nurturing staff have had a massive role to play on that. They are flexible if we’re ever in need of an extra day here and they’re always willing to help if they can. Would recommend!
