J-Build were selected to refurb and restore of a 5 bedroom property in Willesden Green (the house dates from the 1930s and whilst still functional was beginning to look a little bit worn). In addition to a full refurbishment of all rooms, bathrooms and kitchen, the Team also rewired the house, changed the electrical circuit board and did some key checks on the plumbing. I was particularly fussy about keeping as many of the 'art deco' and original features of the house as possible and to merely renovate the property - not fully gut it out and go for a brand new property with all the charm being lost. Despite more care, attention to detail and complication being required to undertake such a task, Jhon and his team were always happy to accommodate and strive for a quality finish. I particularly liked Jhon's flexible and no fuss approach to things and 'can do/help' attitude. I would be pleased to recommend Jhon and his team to anyone thinking of renovating their house (or for smaller jobs) and can highly commend them on their quality, speed, flexibility and tidiness. Whilst Jhon is obviously running a business, I never felt he was just there to collect the paycheck and his key concern was always to please and get to a win-win result for both client and builder (which was his whole ethos from the estimate to completion of the work on the project). I hope to use Jhon and his team again in future. Well done to Jhon and his Team and thanks for creating a wonderful home!

I would highly recommend John and his team from the great work they have just completed at my flat. The job involved fitting a new kitchen and bathroom, removing the old, laying new flooring, tiling, plastering and redecorating. Nothing was ever a problem for them and John took the time to explain everything to me at every stage of the work. He was always quick to get back to me whenever I had a question. John is an upbeat problem solver, especially when we faced some challenges installing part of the kitchen. The end result looks great - he and the team persevered to get what we wanted. All work completed quickly and at a very good rate - would highly recommend and hope to use J-build for future projects.

Overall I think the work was of really good quality, everyone was really friendly and professional and offered helpful ideas where things weren't going exactly to plan or when we had unforeseen issues. I would definitely recommend John and his team to friends and family and would use again for future jobs.

Ioan, J-Build, refurbished and replaced the wood façade on my house, filled in all cracks and re-built the porch and then re-decorated the whole of the front of my house. This was all done very efficiently in under a week, and now looks , really good. I would recommend J-Build to anyone that wants the job done properly and at a good price. Many thanks to your team.

Hi All John was very professional and gave us a great rate for the job. We were to renovate our flat with wood flooring only. The advice given on what materials to buy and the qty was also accurate. On the day the materials arrived his colleagues were available to help carry the stuff to the apartment which was up 4 flights of stairs. Quality of finish was high, and a 4 day job was done in 2. Very impressed with the speed thereof. The only negative comment I have - when the work was done, the builders refused to help with the cleanup which my wife and mother in law had to do by themselves. This according to me was appalling. They eventually did help however, but made a fuss about it initially. Overall - minor hiccups and annoyances aside, high quality work at a good price. Would recommend to others. Be alert to mention all the pre-work and post-work help required. Thanks Ankit

This was a small but challenging project, moving the electric supply and building a small wet room in the downstairs hall for my 90 year old parents. Fantastic team, nothing too much trouble approach, great finish. Throughly recommend.

John and his team were excellent from start to finish and I would recommend them without hesitation. They took down and rebuilt a stud wall for us and replumbed our bathroom. They also repaired some Victorian windows. John was very responsive and gave a fast and accurate quote which he stuck to despite the work actually entailing more than originally thought. Although the window work took a little longer than planned because of the weather, John was very communicative throughout and kept us updated of his plan/schedule. The team were all excellent - very hard working, polite and tidy. We are very happy with the end result and the quality of work is very good. We will certainly contact John again for future work we have planned. Thank you

John was a pleasure to deal with. His initial pitch for the job required was delivered on time and covered all elements of the job. I had to leave John to complete the job whilst i was away and i came back to find everything done as promised. I would definitely recommend John and will be using him for any other jobs i may need doing.

John and team did a great job with my bathroom. I'm very happy with the end result. They made some excellent suggestions to improve what I had planned as things came up. They were efficient and worked continuously on the Job. They were considerate of the rest of the house and left no mess behind. John and his team have been working at my property for over a month, carrying out an almost complete renovation of my period house. They have painted the whole house, installed wood flooring throughout the ground floor and many other jobs. Their work is very good, they are courteous and helpful, with a great "can do" attitude. John is very honest and transparent with his pricing which avoids any awkwardness or misunderstandings. Nick, who has carried out the majority of the work in the house, is a pleasure to have around and is a great problem solver. I feel like he has become part of the family! I thoroughly recommend J-Build and will certainly use them on any future jobs.

John and team were fantastic in the execution of the project. We love our new bathroom, the finishing is impeccable! John was incredibly patient with some of the building issues and delays that cropped up from time to time in the project. This was really appreciated as building projects can be very stressful. It helped that he was calm and always was able to come up with a resolution. We highly recommend JBuild. John and team will not let you down.

John and his brother-in-law did a great job. We initially had them do some hallway tiling, but extended the job considerably to include paving both ours and our neighbours driveway, landscaping our garden, and internal painting & wallpapering. They worked quickly and updated us on progress, and despite some minor hiccups, John kept to our agreed budget, even doing some additional small jobs around the house. A pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend and would use them again!
