Once again, John and his team carried out their work impeccably, actually completing the project slightly ahead of time. Our flat required pretty much gutting, with some rooms changing use. This included new plumbing for a new bathroom and repositioned kitchen; new wiring; and one new doorway being created. This was followed by re-plastering and redecorating - so we really did have the full range of work done! The team were professional, understanding, flexible and always lovely to be around. No request was too much for them, and the finished product looks great - we couldn’t be happier.

Jon and his team completed a back and front extension, a loft conversion, and a total gutting of the original property. Throughout the project Jon communicated clearly, supported us with decisions, explained the process and worked with us to create the home of our dreams. Jon was flexible and understanding, and quickly became a firm favourite amongst our kids, who still ask to see him whenever possible! We are enormously grateful to him and his team for everything they did to help our dream become a reality.

John as an exceptionally good builder who takes great care in the work that he does . He and his excellent team are extremely professional and courteous at all times and Is always willing to go the extra mile when required . I am very happy to recommend him .

Highly recommend Jhon began in 01/04/21,a complete renovation back to brick, kitchen extension & loft conversion, & now ready for handover. Quality & care of finishes have been brilliant & exemplary, his team have worked meticulously tidily & organised throughout, Jhon always contactable by text/phone. Whilst project did take longer than anticipated due to factors out of our control which impacted on the completion date- namely a 3rd party glazers (who I do not recommend) Jhon has been excellent in his delivery & attention to detail. The end product is looking stunning. He always carries work with skill and care. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending him to anyone. I am a bit OCD about perfection, I can truly say he does have excellent workmanship .They definitely know their trade and you get what u pay for +Excellent quality work, Skilled & competent +Trustworthy, Reliable & honest Does what they said they would +Generally completed in a timely manner +Fantastic tiler and plasterer used cannot tell you enough how gorgeous the bathrooms look. +Accommodating to the little extras asked +V Reasonable extras charged. He explains what extras will be chargeable & keeps records - Electrician charges by No. of points pls check how many point u actually have rather than what u think u have as these very quickly add up, more than u may think. - Met with20% increase for overall project cost, to reflect price hikes albeit understandable, though unexpected.

John and his team did a fantastic job on our kitchen and bathroom installation, decorating, patio laying, and utility area remodel which included structural work. From the start, John and team worked incredibly hard, putting in long days six days a week. In contrast to our previous experiences with builders, there was never any day in five weeks when the team didn't turn up. John's drive for quality meant that we never worried about what any aspect of the job would turn out like, as we knew that the team would be always seeking the best possible result whatever the task. John has a team at his fingertips with a wide range of skills and always selected for their quality of work. We were particularly impressed with the standard of joinery and attention to detail on smaller points of decorating - e.g. fittings. Along the way, the team was happy to undertake extra jobs on discussion, but also made clear when it would be better to get someone else with the right skills in. If you are considering John for your building project, don't hesitate to hire him - you will not regret it.

John is a such professional builder and his company and staff are amazing, they are polite, professional, clean, quick, and honest. I can not request any more from him as everything was done perfectly and on time which I requested. Highly recommend!

John and his team have done an absolute fantastic job for us. We fully gutted and renovated our three bedroom flat in Queens Park over the course of 4.5 months. This included, full rewiring and plumbing, new plastering and ceilings, creating a new bathroom and walking closet, kitchen, plus decorating the whole flat. In addition, John was able to build for us custom furniture, a built in walk in closet and a tailored made kitchen. John and his team are extremely hard working and most importantly, honest. John has strong communication skills and we were constantly in contact via WhatsApp and phone calls and he was always very quick to answer. He is always to the point and never sugar coated anything, which was very useful when you have to make a hundred decisions a day. He provides his expertise input when you need help and gives direction when you have trouble making decisions on design. He is open and honest about timelines and expectations which made it easier to manage the renovation. Renovating your place is probably one of the most stressful thing anyone can do, and having a builder you can trust is the single most important factor to take into account. The work produced was high quality and according to the instructions provided. I cannot recommend John enough and I look forward to working with him again in the future.

Work done as scheduled John and his team were helpful

This is the first flat that I bought and my first experience with builders and flat renovation. Overall a very stressful experience, so having a builder you can trust is really priceless and makes all the difference, especially if you lead a busy life. My flat has 2 bedrooms but was really old inside, so John and his team had to take everything apart and start more or less from scratch. He updated the plumbing, the wiring, installed new floor, fitted new kitchen and bathroom and delivered it in immaculate condition. John is very professional, trustworthy, and someone that you can really trust. He is honest, kind and a genuine person. I have already recommended him for another job and I would wholeheartedly recommend him again. If you are looking for a builder, search no more! Thanks a lot John!

John has done a lovely job for me - I'm very happy and recommend him highly. He renovated a 1 bed room flat, adding smart radiators and light switches (HomeKit) ,moving a boiler, making new doorways - a lot of work! I'm leaving this review a few months after the work has been done, as I wanted to test the quality - as you can see the review is still glowing after use. John himself is friendly giant of a man - and although we didn't agree on every design decision, he did cater to my wants and needs. Also to note, i had to remove my fridge (as it was delivered with the door the wrong way. And some skirting got removed. John has kindly offered to come back to finish off (didn't just run off in to the sunset like a lot of builders too). Will use again.

One thing I like most about John is that he is reachable. He always return calls and texts. Works started and finished as promised. John also offered two year guarantee for his work which offers peace of mind. If you need someone easy to talk to, reachable, start and finish works as quoted then John is your guy.

I had some reservations about using a new builder for a commercial project but I must admit, Jhon exceeded all my expectations. The job was completed with minimal interruption to our restaurant business and most importantly the finish was as exactly as was agreed. I will definitely be using him for future works now both residential and commercial. I would gladly give 5* for workmanship and patience.

John communicated well and got the job done to the standard we wanted. His team obviously worked hard and the job was completed by the agreed date and left clear and tidy. We are about to use him again on a similar job. Highly recommended!

J-Build were selected to refurb and restore of a 5 bedroom property in Willesden Green (the house dates from the 1930s and whilst still functional was beginning to look a little bit worn). In addition to a full refurbishment of all rooms, bathrooms and kitchen, the Team also rewired the house, changed the electrical circuit board and did some key checks on the plumbing. I was particularly fussy about keeping as many of the 'art deco' and original features of the house as possible and to merely renovate the property - not fully gut it out and go for a brand new property with all the charm being lost. Despite more care, attention to detail and complication being required to undertake such a task, Jhon and his team were always happy to accommodate and strive for a quality finish. I particularly liked Jhon's flexible and no fuss approach to things and 'can do/help' attitude. I would be pleased to recommend Jhon and his team to anyone thinking of renovating their house (or for smaller jobs) and can highly commend them on their quality, speed, flexibility and tidiness. Whilst Jhon is obviously running a business, I never felt he was just there to collect the paycheck and his key concern was always to please and get to a win-win result for both client and builder (which was his whole ethos from the estimate to completion of the work on the project). I hope to use Jhon and his team again in future. Well done to Jhon and his Team and thanks for creating a wonderful home!

I would highly recommend John and his team from the great work they have just completed at my flat. The job involved fitting a new kitchen and bathroom, removing the old, laying new flooring, tiling, plastering and redecorating. Nothing was ever a problem for them and John took the time to explain everything to me at every stage of the work. He was always quick to get back to me whenever I had a question. John is an upbeat problem solver, especially when we faced some challenges installing part of the kitchen. The end result looks great - he and the team persevered to get what we wanted. All work completed quickly and at a very good rate - would highly recommend and hope to use J-build for future projects.

Overall I think the work was of really good quality, everyone was really friendly and professional and offered helpful ideas where things weren't going exactly to plan or when we had unforeseen issues. I would definitely recommend John and his team to friends and family and would use again for future jobs.

Ioan, J-Build, refurbished and replaced the wood façade on my house, filled in all cracks and re-built the porch and then re-decorated the whole of the front of my house. Hi All John was very professional and gave us a great rate for the job. We were to renovate our flat with wood flooring only. The advice given on what materials to buy and the qty was also accurate. On the day the materials arrived his colleagues were available to help carry the stuff to the apartment which was up 4 flights of stairs. Quality of finish was high, and a 4 day job was done in 2. Very impressed with the speed thereof. The only negative comment I have - when the work was done, the builders refused to help with the cleanup which my wife and mother in law had to do by themselves. This according to me was appalling. They eventually did help however, but made a fuss about it initially. Overall - minor hiccups and annoyances aside, high quality work at a good price. Would recommend to others. Be alert to mention all the pre-work and post-work help required. Thanks Ankit

This was a small but challenging project, moving the electric supply and building a small wet room in the downstairs hall for my 90 year old parents. Fantastic team, nothing too much trouble approach, great finish. Throughly recommend.

John and his team were excellent from start to finish and I would recommend them without hesitation. They took down and rebuilt a stud wall for us and replumbed our bathroom. They also repaired some Victorian windows. John was very responsive and gave a fast and accurate quote which he stuck to despite the work actually entailing more than originally thought. Although the window work took a little longer than planned because of the weather, John was very communicative throughout and kept us updated of his plan/schedule. The team were all excellent - very hard working, polite and tidy. We are very happy with the end result and the quality of work is very good. John was a pleasure to deal with. His initial pitch for the job required was delivered on time and covered all elements of the job. I had to leave John to complete the job whilst i was away and i came back to find everything done as promised. I would definitely recommend John and will be using him for any other jobs i may need doing.

John and his team have been working at my property for over a month, carrying out an almost complete renovation of my period house. They have painted the whole house, installed wood flooring throughout the ground floor and many other jobs. Their work is very good, they are courteous and helpful, with a great "can do" attitude. John is very honest and transparent with his pricing which avoids any awkwardness or misunderstandings. Nick, who has carried out the majority of the work in the house, is a pleasure to have around and is a great problem solver. I feel like he has become part of the family! John and team were fantastic in the execution of the project. We love our new bathroom, the finishing is impeccable! John was incredibly patient with some of the building issues and delays that cropped up from time to time in the project. This was really appreciated as building projects can be very stressful. John and his brother-in-law did a great job. We initially had them do some hallway tiling, but extended the job considerably to include paving both ours and our neighbours driveway, landscaping our garden, and internal painting & wallpapering. They worked quickly and updated us on progress, and despite some minor hiccups, John kept to our agreed budget, even doing some additional small jobs around the house. A pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend and would use them again!

John and his colleagues did a great job for us. They were pretty flexible about start date, but not so free that you worry they don't have enough work! They were all really friendly and polite.. We had sourced all the materials ourselves (tiles, shower, basin etc.) so they only charged us for labour and a few sundries such as grout. It was a very competitive rate. The finished job looks absolutely great. The tiling is neat and tidy, the new shower and basin look lovely. I will definitely consider hiring them again.

I had to cancel the job in the end but John came to view the job promptly and gave me a fair quote.

Very good - John was professional, quick, courteous and tidy. He fixed a problem with our shower tray and replaced and re-grouted the marble tiles.

I wish you could tell the difference in smell between the before and after images! The guys did a great job of repainting the wall and got rid of the mould hiding beneath the old wallpapers. They also gave the best quote for the job by far! We will likely use them again, I would recommend John and he's team (thanks for the brilliant quick job Nick!) to our friends and to you!

John & his team did a great job. The tiled my bathroom & kitchen, repaired some ugly water damage on my kitchen ceiling, and painted my kitchen, sitting room, hall & bedroom. All the work has been done to a high standard. I had mosaic tiles in my bathroom which I think are hard to fit neatly, and this was very well done. Bonus: they work fast.
