I Tool and Plant

Established in 2010, iTool and Plant provides a wide range of self drive plant & equipment hire, plant & machinery sales and groundworks services. We also operate a 32 tonne crane lorry and are available for Hiab works.

Our customers range from domestic clients doing their own work, local businesses such as builders, tree surgeons and property maintenance contractors, through to national companies working in the area. Based in sauchen between Westhill and Alford we are ideally suited to cover a large part of Rural Aberdeenshire, Aberdeen city and with the opening of the Aberdeen City Bypass, we can also be competitive in delivery to the North and South of the city.

Areas covered include, Inverurie, Ellon, Elgin, Insch, Banchory, Aboyne, Balater, Strathdon, Aberdeen City, Stonehaven, Laurencekirk, and anywhere else in between. We specialise in equipment hire of all types and aim to be a “one stop shop” for the hire of unusual or specialist equipment normally only available from dedicated bespoke hire companies.

Examples of this include our range of turfcare equipment such as a stone burier or overseeder, inspection equipment such as thermal imaging cameras or drain cameras and excavator mounted attachments such as soil screeners and post hole borers. As a family run business, we pride ourselves in the personal touch, being big enough to deliver, but small enough to care.
