Today 15.th January the downstairs loo roof was repaired by Andrew. Work was excellent and Andrew was really polite and pleasant. Thank you!!! Would highly recommend!!!

James was very quick to respond and provided a clear and reasonable quote.

Andrew arrived on time, worked efficiently, and did an excellent job repairing the ceiling. I understand that artex ceilings can never be repaired to look absolutely perfect, but Andrew managed to recreate a very similar pattern to the original, which I’m extremely pleased with.

After a long and frustrating experience with my previous builder, this was such a relief. The workmanship is on a completely different level. I’m very happy with the result and would highly recommend them.

Wanted an old damaged Artex bedroom ceiling, border and window bay plastered over. Extra Mile arranged the asbestos test (luckily negative ) and the plasterers, Andy and Brandon were on site in just over a week from initial enquiry. Put on a thick bonding layer on the Friday, allowed to dry over weekend and put on the finishing plaster coating on the Monday. Hall, stairs, landing and other areas were covered and protected and at the end of the job they cleaned and tidied up as much as possible. The plastered finish looks great and I’m really pleased with it.

This company certainly puts a lot of effort into providing a service well above that of rivals. I feared that the experience of having "strangers" in the house for several weeks following considerable water damage, might be traumatic. The tradesmen were very understanding and worked in an orderly and tidy manor.
On a scale of 10 they scored 9.5. It should have been 10/10 but they experienced a quality control issue with the supplies of the chosen "high end paint"
We will continue to use this company for all of our painting and maintenance needs and recommend them to others.

I’m thrilled with the painting and carpentry work done by ExtraMile—James and his team were punctual, polite, and truly went the extra mile to deliver a flawless finish. They treated our home with care, worked around our home-office schedule and clearly take pride in their craft.

The only hiccup came during the initial plaster skimming, which resulted in more filling, sanding, and prep than I’d normally expect. Thankfully the decorators spotted and corrected it, but a smoother skim would have let them complete the job even more efficiently.

Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the decorator’s professionalism, attention to detail and the beautiful final result. I’d recommend ExtraMile in a heartbeat for painting and woodwork—and I’m confident their plastering team will step up to match the high standard set by their decorators.

Five stars for Extra Mile! They expertly decorated our house exterior, including mock Tudor beam re-rendering, porch step repair, a new flat roof, and painting all the woodwork, fascias, soffits, and weatherboards and some guttering work. Once the scaffolding was up, we noticed a few additional jobs, and Extra Mile was incredibly flexible, ensuring these could be completed before the scaffolding came down – that was greatly appreciated. James and Neil were professional, friendly, and informative throughout. And shoutout to Mike who was incredibly thorough and meticulous with the decoration work. Our house looks so much better – thank you!
