SA Motors is the best mechanic and tuning place I’ve been to. They found issues with my car that other garages couldn’t figure out. Lee spent a lot of time on my car and didn’t give up until everything was sorted. He kept me fully informed throughout and even provided proof of all the work done. Unlike many other garages, they are honest and reliable — definitely not scammers. This is now my go-to garage!

Booked in for a Haldex service & cam follower change on my Golf R, Lee informed me the cam follower was like new so didn't need changing, was very impressed with the honesty without charging me for something it didn't need. The haldex service was reasonable price also. Top set of lads, highly recommend

I had white smoke billowing out of my t6, because I’ve had work done before by Lee I messaged him first as he’s my trusted go to garage. From start to finish the service was top level. Loads of communication, went through the van with a fine tooth comb to diagnose, gave me all the information in a way a non mechanically minded person can understand. Even though he’s an hour away I will not use another garage. If you have any VAG motor Lee should be your first call

Absolutely blew it out the park.
Lee and the lads took a van that should’ve had the engine scrapped, and completely resurrected it.
It had previously been repeatedly taken back to the same garage over and over having parts thrown at it whilst something more sinister and underlying was present due to poor diagnostics.
The engine was a complete mess and no other garage wanted to get involved.
These guys knew exactly what the problem was to begin with, quoted me and kept me in the loop with progress along the way until the job was complete and the engine completely transformed.
I’ve just drove it back home doing over 100 miles and being a mechanic myself i know how labour intensive and the knowledge needed to rectify these engines well especially with this one’s previous history well it runs like a sewing machine and I can’t find anywhere they’ve gone wrong no corners have been cut no missing bolts or rounded heads great experience all round thanks again lads 👍🏼

I bought a golf gti club sport earlier on in the year. I Took it to Lee and the boys for a health check and it turned out to be terrible.

They helped me out and gave me some good advise and I managed to get my money back for the car. I ended up buying a car that Lee had previously owned, which was immaculate. I have just had a MOT and service done on it by them too.

Booked my S3 in for a full service (DSG, Haldex, Transfer box, Diff & Engine) as well as to investigate an oil leak and by the end of the day the car was ready for me to pick it up. The guys got straight to the point and managed to fix the oil leak after confirming with me and overall was a breath of fresh air from an independent garage. Have to give a big shout out to Sam, Lee & Johnny who clearly know their stuff and take great pride in their work. Finally a reliable and honest garage who go the extra mile for you! Safe to say I’ll be returning next time as their service, integrity and prices are unmatched. Thanks a lot guys!

I purchased a vw gtd last year and was very disappointed with the performance. After 1 visit to see Lee he absolutely transformed the car. Turned out it needed a new turbo and luckily it was under warranty. I didn’t even have to lift a finger Lee dealt with the warranty company on my behalf. Customer service and knowledge is second to 0 and would highly reccomend SA MOTORS
