We’ve been attending DTA for several years now, and it has been a fantastic experience from the very beginning. The teachers are truly brilliant—dedicated, supportive, and inspiring. The school offers a great balance of exam preparation, competitions, and shows, giving children wonderful opportunities to grow and perform.
What really stands out is how committed everyone is to helping each child improve their dancing, music, and theatre skills. The environment is warm and welcoming, and over the years we’ve not only seen great progress but also made lasting friendships. We couldn’t recommend DTA highly enough

We’re really grateful to DTA for the support they’ve given our daughter. She started later due to hydrocephalus, so we were unsure how she’d get on, but DTA made her feel comfortable from the start.

She’s built strong skills not only dancing but now vocally and, just as importantly, much more confidence .

We always knew DTA was the best choice for our daughter and it has delivered in every sense. The continuous opportunities, the friends she’s made and confidence and resilience she’s developed would not have happened without Geoff and Julie. DTA is a core part of our lives and is so much more than a performance school. The professionalism, perfectionism and attention to detail is something I know my daughter will take forward into all aspects of her life.

Hey my daughter has been going to dta from the age of 2 and now she is 14. Julie and the team are amazing.she really has come out for herself she had got some amazing friends i have got a amazing dance family . Julia is always there for girls and everyone else she is a fantastic teacher xxx

Both my children attend DTA and have come on so much with confidence it makes my heart full to see.

They both attend a variety of classes and are developing a wide range of skills.

The encouragement and support they get from the teaching staff is fantastic, whether it be attending auditions for panto productions, national musical theatre productions or associate programs in ballet, tap, elite dance training or stage my children have been supported throughout offering extra tuition and prep.

Both of my children have got an amazing set of friends at DTA who support each other through competitions and build each other up even when they are feeling low, you know there little ‘Dance Family’ are on hand to offer support and kindness.

My Daughter has been dancing here for over 11 years. My youngest now attends. And my Son also attend for a while. DTA is not just a dance and musical theatre school. It’s a family! The way they treat their children and I say their because they are is amazing. The doors they have helped open for their students is incredible. The opportunities. The praise. The love and hard work!
