Birds Hill Days

Two downpours did not spoil 2 hours of clay pigeon shooting for our family group of 8 (3 women, 5 men); the first time shooting for most of us. However with Matthew and Ian's patience and experienced guidance we all managed to hit some clays! Would highly recommend.

Matthew and the team provided an outstanding clay pigeon shooting session! With three traps and excellent instructors, the coaching was top-notch. We were thrilled with the experience and highly recommend them to everyone. Perfect for both beginners and seasoned shooters. A fantastic day out!

Matthew and his team hosted a shoot for us at Northmoor House this weekend. We had ages from 10 to 55, everyone had a fantastic time. The guys were knowledgable, safe and really good fun. Great value for money, would definatley recommend. the only drawback is i am being nagged by my 10 year old to buy him a shot gun!!

Absolutely fantastic! We were a group of 8 and were in safe hands with Matthew and Stewart. Really well organised and great instructions given to ensure we were hitting clays. We had such a good laugh and they made it really competitive. Massive thank you to them both really made our holiday

We spent about an hour and a half doing archery as a family with two kids, 9 and 12. Matthew was friendly and helpful and a great coach, having been teaching archery for over 20 years. The environment and set up were all great - very safe and COVID aware. Very enjoyable, would definitely recommend.

Birds Hill Days provided archery and pistol shooting at our wedding. Everyone who took part commented on their friendly yet professional approach, and everyone stayed safe whilst having bags of fun. During the planning for the event we were impressed by how flexible Matthew and his team could be, particularly in relation to the weather which fortunately was not an issue on the day itself. Absolutely fantastic in every respect.

Had a day of Archery and Clay Pigeon Shooting yesterday, what a fantastic day. Matthew was an excellent tutor, very patient.

Matthew and his team gave clear, calm instructions and provided a safe and enjoyable afternoon. Showed patience and encouragement. Would thoroughly recommend.

Absolutely amazing. Matthew was incredibly helpful in assisting in organising a fantastic day for my husbands 50th Birthday. I can't thank him enough. The clay pigeon shooting was fantastic, well organised and really good fun for the boys, then Archery for all the family and accomadating the children so they weren’t bored or left out.A weekend we will all remember, thank you.

Great morning of shooting for a friend's recent 30th - even though I couldn't shoot to save my life. In the event of a zombie apocalypse, I'm the first one dead.

After we were let down last minute with some accommodation, Matthew helped to sort this for us, as well as recommend local activities, good local pubs and taxi firms.
