I have attended Auntie Planty's monthly gardening club (1st Thursday of the month on zoom) since it started and can only say it is very rare to get "something for nothing" which you definitely do in this case. There is no sales pitch to buy anything, no add on's, just knowledge by the bucket load and careful thought-out advice, delivered by a true professional. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Valerie for anything garden related and as the gardening club is open to anyone interested in gardening I strongly recommend joining us, what is there to lose? Valerie is unique in her knowledge and expertise and more than once in the past 4 years (last time I left a review) has she come to my aid either with advice and guidance or as an emergency rescue service. Cannot recommend her highly enough. Thanks Valerie!

I have used Aunty Planty services several times in my old and new house and her garden MOT's are packed with information and advice.When we moved she advised on how best to transport our beloved plants & shrubs and how to take care of them in their new home and where best to plant them.She also took a cutting of one of our roses that we couldn't take with us and has nurtured it back to life in the Aunty Planty hospital ready for the next season.I highly recommend Valerie's amazing services.

Valerie is a fantastic person to work with if you want to transform your garden and learn while doing it. She is very knowledgeable and has a unique way of sharing her expertise that is easy to grasp, even for someone with hardly any gardening knowledge (like me). In just a few months of working with Valerie, we’ve rearranged the plants, planned new arrangements (and she’s helped to choose the best plants for each part of the garden) —the garden is looking the best it ever did! Even more importantly, thanks to Valerie’s advice and patience, I’ve gone from feeling overwhelmed with ‘I don’t even know where to start’ to feeling confident and able to genuinely enjoy gardening—both with Valerie and on my own. Sessions with Valerie are also fun, and she has been very responsive to my queries in between our sessions.

We have been working with Valerie for a few months now. Through her personalised and bespoke service, she has imparted invaluable knowledge and advice, from how to plan and manage the garden, to what to plant, tools and equipment and more. Most crucially, through her expertise, her kindness and her patience, she has helped us to grow in confidence with our garden, and helped us to turn it into a space we can both manage and enjoy. Knowledgeable person regarding garden plants.

Valerie has a wealth of knowledge about anything to do with plants. She came to see us regarding our boxes that have been attacked by moths. She gave us some great tips and our boxes are still alive. Advice was also given regarding watering our garden and some plants that were in the wrong place. As a result our garden looks much better. Auntie Planty is so knowledgeable about plants and their maintenance. I learnt a lot from her in our walk around my garden, most importantly to me, how to save my beloved box balls from the dreaded box moth/caterpillar (see before and after treatment photos). My garden had been neglected since I started my business, she advised on the basic care of my plants, identified the plants that needed first aid (they have responded so well) one plant needed to be relocated to a better spot for it in the garden and it has flourished as a result. Following her visit, I received a full and detailed report with suggestions for care and treatment of my garden and plant recommendations. I love the way she works. I enjoy gardening, I don't want someone to do it for me, but as a result of working with Auntie Planty my garden looks healthier and more beautiful than ever. Auntie Planty is blooming marvellous - I have had her "walk and talk" garden service (highly recommended) and she has literally saved 2 house plants both of which had emotional attachments and I was desperate not to lose.
