About Us

Hello, I'm Emily, a self-employed florist operating from my home workshop in Bristol, nestled at the bottom of my garden in the southern part of the city. Growing up in Bristol, I exhibited a strong creative flair during my school days, with Art, Drama, and Design and Technology being my preferred subjects. At the age of 15, I embarked on my first Saturday job at Diana Porter's establishment on Cotham Hill. Surrounded by contemporary jewelry designers like Diana, my interest in design soared. Whether it was sewing, painting, crafting jewelry, or arranging flowers, my passion knew no bounds. Despite completing a foundation course in Art and Design at Bower Ashton, my confidence wavered. Post my time in art college, I took a detour and pursued a career in property. Nevertheless, the longing for a creative outlet persisted. During my wedding, as my father delivered his Father of the Bride speech, he affectionately reminded me of my 'unique and very personal eye for color and design, always creating something interesting, pretty with a modern twist.' It was then that I made the decision to wholeheartedly pursue my love for flowers and design.
