Rafa & Chris were very professional from first contact, quote to completion of the work. Attention to detail was admirable and the completed project far exceeded my vision. Amazing work and we will definitely be in touch if we need any additional work carried out. Very efficient, professional and like I say attention to detail - amazing. RRJ did the white cupboards and attached our panelling - the media wall was already there but the wiring is now tidy and behind closed doors.

Having engaged Rafa for a previous project, we already appreciated the level to which he works. He and Chris have just finished another project for us, renovating hardwood window frames, along with various other items which we added (and Rafa took on board with his customary good nature) as we went along. We encountered the odd hidden complication along the way but, given Rafa's diligence and ingenuity, the window frames looked beautiful in the end - Rafa is always accommodating, positive and unfazed when the unexpected crops up, offering solutions not problems! Part of this project was renovating a very heavy duty oak gate: Rafa even sourced and organised the re-powder coating of the ironwork for the gate - it looks fabulous. As a bonus, Rafa and Chris are pleasant, polite and frequently entertaining to have around - what more could one ask?

RRJ did a great job replacing two gable ends and replacing a hardwood window. They were proactive, communicated well, dealt with issues when they arose, presenting different options with a range of budgets. The carpentry skills were exception the wood work looks better than the original. Highly recommend!

Rafa worked with me on every detail of the kitchen to make the whole thing look unbelievable. The work was completed to the highest standards and the photos speak for themselves.

The work included full kitchen installation, a bespoke bar area, bespoke bench and seating and plenty more finishing details to make the whole place look fantastic.

RRJ carpentry & joinery.

We’ve been renovating a house and, having done the bulk of the painting, we removed old carpets and underlay to discover that a few of the stairs were falling to pieces. It was a great relief that Rafa and Chris were able to fix them up quickly and without removing the ceiling underneath. Very pleased with the job they’ve done. Now we can finish the painting and get new carpets down.

Very pleased with our new windows so far, looking forward to getting them painted when weather permits. Excellent professionals to have in our home, immaculately tidy and attentive to details, extreme care taken to protect new carpets and decorating with minimal finishing off to do. Will definitely have them back for further work

Please note that I write this as an ex Building Surveyor of 30 years. During that time I worked with many many contractors - from the scandalously bad to the very good. However, Raf of RRJ Carpentry And Joinery Ltd's work far outshines those contractors that I worked with on the very good scale. The quality of his work is beyond that of exemplary. It is the bending edge of quality. There is no further perfection to be gained.

Raf is evidently a person who takes quality seriously. He is able to achieve this for a number of factors. The first is that he has the ability to 'run through' the job in his mind. He has the ability to see the pitfalls of a job, and iron them out, before he even starts. The second element is that he has the skill base to execute only quality workmanship. The third beneficial factor is that he has all the tools needed for any of the works that he is given. Finally, and very satisfyingly it's almost in Raf's DNA to only be able to do a top quality job. It is a delight to see in action, and on completion of works.

The work that Raf did for me was extensive, and needed thorough planning from the start. I needed to have the cabin at the end of my garden underpinned with a 'ring of steel, which could then be used with a design of Raf's to be able to be raised up 1.5 linear metres. The necessity for this is that I live close to the River Severn, which occasionally bursts its banks and floods my garden. Getting tired of my cabin getting constantly destroyed by water (decorations, furniture, electrics etc) I sought Raf's help. Raf not only designed the solution, he executed it to complete perfection. I can now raise my cabin 1.5 linear metres vertically into the air, let the river run into my garden, and it doesn't touch the cabin. I can then lower the whole cabin once the river level recedes. And this is no small cabin. It's solid timber and it is 5 metres by 4 metres, so it is immensely heavy. And guess what? His system worked, and has worked every time since - to pre-calculated perfection. I cannot begin to tell you how much heartache he has saved me and my wife via his design and quality workmanship.

I have taken pride in my own work for those long 30 years as a Building Surveyor. I wouldn't want my own reputation tarnished by a bad contractor. I have full faith in the quality of RRJ Carpentry And Joinery Ltd's work, and have no hesitation in recommending them to you.
