It's A Birds Thing

I would like to say a massive thank you to Lee for the great customer service and the beautiful boy we have now in our family! Meet Zeus!! Would highly recommend Lee to anyone thinking of getting a feathered companion! He truly knows his stuff.

Having just purchased 5 Gouldian finches from Lee, I wanted to share my experience. With living in the North East of Scotland it’s very difficult to locate and purchase finches without a 5 hour drive. I googled and found that Lee offered a delivery service using independent bird couriers. I’ve never heard of such a service and was somewhat sceptical but I must say that Lees actions have surpassed all the sceptics out there. Everything flowed well and comms from the couriers on delivery time was spot on.
If you are thinking of buying from Lee but have doubts, please don’t as he is a genuine seller who delivers as promised.
Will recommend and use again.

Great experience.My top tip is phone up first. Ask for prices.Let them know your knowledge of keeping birds.Very pleased with the pair of cockatiels we picked up (they was not cheap, pun intended.) Both are finger tame. Settling in nicely.Highly recommend this place if you want to buy well adjusted well kept birds

I found It's a bird thing through a search on the internet and gave them a call. Lee answered the phone and I was looking for something very specific which were a pair of male and female lovebirds. He didn't have any in but said he'd keep an eye out. Afew weeks later he got in touch and said he'd come across two but didn't know their sexes so he suggested to DNA test them if i wanted to know for sure which I agreed to, 5 days later the results came back as 1 male 1 female. He arranged them to be delivered a week later. I could not recommend this place enough, I am already looking at some budgies for my mother for a christmas present. The price is extremely reasonable including the delivery ( as I live 160 miles away, that was also first class ) I couldn't be happier with the service and hospitality... I highly recommend!

I found Its A Birds Thing after seeing lots and lots of reccomendations on social media posts. As a first time parrot owner, after many years of researching, and having previously spoken with other sellers/breeders and 'companies' it was a total minefield, I'm so greatful I found Lee via so many reviews and recommendations. He was so helpful and easy to talk to, with absolutely no pressure to buy anything and answered all my strange questions! He has so much knowledge and I'm absolutely thrilled with my hand reared Galah. If I am ever looking for another bird or advice this is where I will come straight away. Highly recommend them to anyone, even more so if like me you are a first time owner and need someone with a lot of knowledge and experience of all types of birds to help you to make your decisions, added bonus of having everything you could possibly need available there too.

I bought a budgie aswell as other accessories from Lee and I highly recommend his service! He was so helpful and patient as I was choosing the budgie and was very informative. It's clear he truly knows about birds and is passionate in making sure they're all receiving the best treatment! I would like to say a huge thank you to Lee for my lovely little pearly conure we have called Mabel. I wanted to order from a reputable shop which had good reviews and cared for the birds sold, I wasnt disapointed. She arrived in the via courier Thursday evening, the couriers were very nice and professional. I recieved a text the same evening from Lee checking everything was ok and a dna update. Its now Sunday and her cheeky personality is now starting to come out as she's settling in.
