Like stepping into a fairytale… Heartwood Treehouse was a magical place. Surrounded by stunning countryside, it was the peaceful and private break we both needed.The bed was incredibly comfy (we even snapped a photo of the duvet and pillow labels!), and the view from the sofa was absolutely spectacular. Plenty of wood was supplied for the hot tub, log burner, and fire pit, making it wonderfully cosy and relaxing. The property was spotlessly clean and tidy.We loved taking a ride on the local steam train, first class with a picnic hamper—highly recommend! Special memories were made, and we can’t wait to return. We have recently come back from a wonderful stay at the treehouse. The accommodation has the most breathtaking views , wonderful furnishings and everything is so luxurious. The private hot tub under the stars to the bath with a view and the privacy of this treehouse makes it the perfect romantic retreat. The owner is so helpful and makes sure you have everything you need. You are also on the doorstep to some great walks. We recommend walking at Rodney’s Pillar and also dining at Plas Ys Dinas both a short drive away. Thank you again. It was our first time glamping, the place is nicely furnished and situated. The stars were out nearly every night, couldn't have asked for a better view, day or night. We stayed in Bluebell, and the Treehouse just takes it up to a whole new level.Plenty of shops nearby within 10-15 minute drive. The lake and waterfall another 15 minutes. We have just returned from the most amazing treehouse stay with Oaklands Galmping & Treehouse. I can not recommend this place enough. Just absolutely stunning and the attention to detail, they have thought of it all, inside and out. The book inside filled with recommendations from restaurants, takeouts (including grazing boxes) to local attractions and hike code of conduct among other bits of info is really useful if you want to venture out but it is very tempting to just stay in and enjoy every part of this place and bird watch or watch the world go by on the balcony sipping on your favourite drink from the coffee machine, kettle or wine cooler 😜.I will continue to rave about this place to anyone who will listen as I could not fault it and can't wait to return in the near future, if you aren't booked up!Thank you again for such a lovely stay 💕James & Lauren05/08/24Rooms: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Location: 5/5Hotel highlightsLuxury, Great view, Romantic, Quiet

Such a gorgeous treehouse, perfectly situated with an amazing view. The treehouse has all the facilities you need for a weekend away. We loved our stay in the beautiful Oakland's treehouse, from the moment we arrived we felt welcome. The tree house is gorgeous, so well done and very clean. This was our second stay at the Treehouse, we absolutely love staying here! I proposed to my fiancé here and it was picture perfect. The Treehouse itself is absolutely stunning, the scenery is gorgeous and it’s so peaceful. It’s private and cosy, perfect for a romantic break away. There’s enough near by to keep you occupied such as Lake Vyrnwy but we honestly didn’t leave the Treehouse much as we felt we didn’t need to! Just played board games and had a dip in the hot tub. The owners are so lovely and very helpful. There’s a folder with recommendations in, we went to one of the pubs mentioned and had a lovely meal. Hosts are great and will get back to you quickly. Already planning another stay. Luxury getaway .Wow , the photos do not do it justice !It’s absolutely stunning , everything is just pure luxury from the towels to the bed sheets . Everything has been thought of to allow you to enjoy your stay , there was even ice in the freezer ready for your gin and tonic !When we arrived the log fire was lit and the hot tub was the perfect temperature ready to use . The welcome pack was lovely touch too !The hosts were super friendly and informative and to our surprise offered us an earlier check in which was a lovely touch!This was a 40th Birthday to remember , peace , stars and sunshine . To sum up Heartwood treehouse in one word WOW! Everything is perfect and thoughtfully done. It was spotlessly clean throughout. The welcome pack was lovely and the host was very kind and informative about the area. It rained the entire time we stayed but we still relaxed snuggled up next to the log burner. We’ve stayed here twice now, and always get asked where this is from the photos! There’s nowhere else like it, location is beautiful and out of the way but a 10 min drive from anything you could want or need. The hosts are lovely, personally showing you round every time you stay. The build of the treehouse is amazing, every detail has been thought through so the whole experience is fantastic. Highly recommend!

A beautiful Treehouse with every attention to detail considered.We stayed in Oct 2021 and didn't want to leave.We had a warm greeting from a young man who was very friendly and showed us how everything works.Everything we needed plus more was supplied. This was the destination for our 30th wedding anniversary.My wife had no idea where we were going and as such, had lots of questions as to what to pack! Shaphan, Abigail and the team couldn’t be more helpful in answering my many emails and texts to answer my wife’s queries and, as such, were instrumental in making us feel welcome, even before we arrived!I wanted it to be perfect and perfect it was, living up to all our expectations. My fiancé and I stayed at Oaklands Treehouse for two nights and we had the most wonderful time! The Treehouse was impeccable, pure 5 star luxury! Shaphan and Abi have thought of everything. The kitchen is well equipped for all your cooking needs, the bathroom is fantastic with a huge walk in shower, and the bath at the end of the bed with that amazing view is stunning! Sitting and having breakfast in the sunshine with that amazing view was the perfect way to start the day. Sitting in the evening, enjoying the lovely hot tub, sitting around the fire pit and enjoying a few drinks was so relaxing! When we arrived there was a gorgeous welcome pack on the side with bubbles, chocolates, coffee and tea. All these little touches really made the Treehouse even more special. This has got to be the best accommodation at the heartwood treehouse I’ve been too yet it was a perfect 10/10 and the views are just stunning, (however if you wear fake tan please remember take your own towels and bedding lol) oh well it was a lesson learnt i guess :)! Brilliant. Stayed in the treehouse. The accommodation is amazing and the views stunning. Great place to get away from it all and relax. We were lucky with having some good weather which really enables you to make the most of the log heated hot tub, sitting on the balcony or next to the fire pit. Being able to open the bi-fold doors you really feel like you're part of nature.

My husband and I went here recently for our honeymoon. We spent a week in the Treehouse onsite, and it was the perfect way to unwind after the wedding. Shaphan and Abi made us feel so welcome, and had a beautiful hamper and champagne waiting for us on arrival, as well as the hot tub warmed up ready for us to use as soon as we arrived.The Treehouse itself is stunning, no detail has been overlooked, and from the beautiful kitchen right through to the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on (We wanted to “borrow” the duvet and pillows forever, it was a perfect break away. The scenery is stunning, would certainly recommend a visit to Lake Vyrnwy, and the locals were all very friendly and welcoming.We are looking forward to visiting again!

Amazing experience.My partner and I visited for our mini moon stayed 3 nights in the gorgeous Bluebell safari tent with luxurious hot tub and seated area around the fire pit.The tent was like a home from home had all of the necessities needed to live comfortably for a few days. Beautifully laid out and stylishly designed open plan Living Space leading straight onto the raised decking where you can see some stunning views.Abigail and Shaphan were fantastic hosts, communication was very easy with a direct number to either phone or text we were welcomed on-site and shown around explained how to use fire pits wood burning stoves etc they have a clever little setup with an honesty shop for all the essentials that you may have forgotten on route a small shed for your extra wood and parking on site.We felt very spoilt as the hot tub was ready on arrival, our tent had some little surprises including a bottle of bubbly!! I'm so glad we decided to vist Oakland's as our Honeymoon site, we have decided to return on our anniversary and we will be recommending to all fiends and family.This is one glamping site you want to vist!!Thank you Abigail and Shaphan.
