Having had a schedule of condition report completed...

Having had a schedule of condition report completed in early 2023 by Godden Allen Law, it was clear a great deal of work was required to bring the outside of my property up to scratch. I contacted Jay Cross around September and asked him for a quote to cover every element of the report. He came to my home and we discussed the works and time and cost estimates. He was very engaging, and it was obvious that he was incredibly passionate about the work he completes. During the 2-3 week building works, you barely heard him or his team, except for an occasional waft of Classical music coming from his radio. He completed the work to a very high standard, talking me through any little surprises he found as he was working, explaining options to address these new issues, always allowing me to make the call on what I wanted to do. He even did some weeding to the front of the house while they were working!

He left the property, clean and tidy at the end of each day, often working on until 6-7pm. To the point where my wife would say, "go home, you've done enough for today".

On completion of the works, you would not know they had been here, except that my house is now the nicest looking one on the street.

I take no hesitation whatsoever, in recommending him. He is a really lovely, passionate guy, who truly loves what he does. I look forward to working with him on future projects.
