My husband wanted blinds in a particular Orla Kiely design to finish off our new kitchen. Because we have two window of unusual sizes (one hugely wide & one fairly small) we weren’t able to buy off the shelf. Things get a lot more expensive when they are non-standard! We were delighted when we found Rachael who was able to offer a bespoke service for around the same price as some online bespoke suppliers (e.g. Dekoria) & a lot less than others (e.g. John Lewis) in the right design. She offered a 3 week timescale (in April) which we thought was reasonable and they actually came a little early. It was really worth the wait! The blinds are perfect, exactly what we wanted. They are beautifully made & Rachael toocare to ensure the design was centred well which I suspect meant wasting more material than if she had been less meticulous. The stitching is perfect which was vital as the wider blind had to be made from 2 pieces. The mechanisms seem very robust and go up & down very smoothly, obviously a superior quality to some we had seen in diy stores etc, and the fixings easy to fix to the wall and then to the blind. Altogether we absolutely thrilled and would highly recommend Rachael’s service.
